Okay we see and hear a lot of talk from people saying they can solo most everything, missions/quests are too easy etc.. Well listen up, why not have a weekend event added that is basically an Ironman event. Setup say 5 missions that are very grueling and difficult. Then the person entering must go ALONE. Be they a 55 monk or whatever fotw build is supposed to be so uber. If they fail oh well, if they succeed, they get the Ironman title. If GW did this, do you think anyone would enter, or would their just be a long thread of complaints saying how hard it was, or how they were busy and couldn't make it etc..
Your thoughts?

I'd take that challenge. And be very happy about it too. But a weekend is not enough. I say make it a month, say 5 missions.
I say a month because I'd be going for this with my Ranger. And doing a really hard mission with one single char would take some good build innovating (or whatever you want to call it). So I'd have to figure out what's inside, maybe figure out the patrol routes, figure if I'm gonna go traps, barrage, beast master, whatever.
But yeah, w00t for the idea, I love it.

I like the idea, but it could use a little more polish, I guess thats what the folks at Anet are for eh?

It seems to be a no brainer of sorts, people like to run, solo, etc, and love titles. Why not give them a constructive outlet, instead of just nerfing them to hell and back and making them quit out of boredom. Isn't this how pvp arenas came to pass (Balth's islands instead of individual areas at droks etc)?
The month sounds good, but there should be a limit of how many tiems a player can try. The realworld Iron is one shot thru, but that would be too harsh. However, if they wanted to give unlimited tries they could factor in a different title. i.e 1-5 tries "x" title, 6-10 tries "y" title etc..

Wasn't that Tomb of Primeval Kings in the crystal desert, its impossible to solo it, and so challenged the greatest

I think that is a good idea. They should have something like this. Might get ten times more complaints then acceptable comments but it would probably be from those who cannot handle it. Might give people something else to do in the game.

Dude they should have a worm arena title that game was pretty fun lol. And they should call it...ummm pro worm catcher or sometihng like that lol.

Solo anything doesn't work in Guild Wars. At all. It's a group game.
(Don't bother to mention Tihark Orchard or Ruins of Saldajara. Those are different.)

The only person worthy of the title would be the first guy who did it, then posted his build and a tutorial on here. Hence this is useless. AND in the wrong place.

a solo build isnt nessacerily a good build.
All the people I know who would deserve the title of ironman wouldn't enter anyway, anybody can solo a mission, all it takes is knowing the enemies.
