What Problems Await when I run E-Denial?

With the help of some of you from stickied posts, I finally feel very good about my e-denial build for pvp. I'm running these skills:
e-surge
e-burn
power leak
signet of weariness
mink wrack
wastrel's demise
Also carrying ether feast and rez sig.

I just had a very successful set of runs with it in RA (14 was my best - 10 in RA plus 4 TA wins). And in none of my matches did I ever seem to be bothered by anything except an occasional backfire or needing to kite from melee. Now I know that RA isn't really a good measuring stick...so, the reason for my post:

By no means am I that good yet at pvp, so I am basically asking for what I can expect that I should be most concerned about once I hit TA and HA consistently. In other words, how do most people counter an e-denial build?

I know focus/weapon swapping helps against it. Anything else I should know in terms of what will wreak havoc with me?

I haven't found room for hex or condition removal. I'm guessing that certain hexes might do me in pretty good (backfire, migraine, etc.)

Maybe this question is too obvious to answer, or maybe I've answered it myself, but I thought I would still ask.

Another counter would be spellbreaker which isn't run much but it is still a counter. Also another edenial mesmer would hurt you lol.

The best e-denial is still comes down to stopping enemy's energy regen.

With Power Leak to drain a big chunk.

Interrupts will ruin your build and melee chasing you around.

Also, always energy deny an enemy energy denial build before they do it to you

Try changing your perspective from straight edenial to a more utility based approach and consider balancing a pure edenial build with general shutdown capability.

Blackout, for instance, can be used against monks obviously. But if you are getting pressured by a warrior, blackout can shutdown the adrenaline spike that probably isn't too far away.

Signet of humility is just plain lovely. Some monk builds are based around fast cast and fast recharge elites; you would be lucky to catch it with power leak. Temporarily removing that from a monks bar (perhaps a cycle of time where they may have cast it 3 or more times) is another way to change their casting behaviour and pressure them like edenial can.

Not saying these are better at all, perhaps trying to encourage thinking outside the square. If an opponent you meet is quite capable of countering your edeny, then balancing the build a little still allows you to be useful against other foes in that group.

Spellbreaker = Divine Favor spell that's not used anyway due to it sucking = absolutely, painstakingly useless on a Mesmer.

Back to the OP...an enemy Diversion mesmer would wreck you if you weren't cautious enough, as would an opposing ESurger. Also, don't forget the enemy Warriors. (Taking Distortion is...err, was...ftw.)

Wither and malaise are two of the least useful spells in the game. I could tell when the team was bad when they put wither and malaise on me, an ele with prodigy, and not a malaise on the YAA warrior standing next to me. Those skills are only good at wreaking havoc on a physical's energy, because they're not prepared to deal with it.
