Theres my general Spear pve build, most of the spear builds I've seen revolve around Aggressive Refrain, Go For The Eyes, and that 'your next attack skill causes burning' chant.

[skill]Soldier's Fury[/skill] would be great, its cheap, recharges fast AND it also ads attackspeed but it doesnt help with runners.
[skill]You're All Alone![/skill] could be usefull for taking down runners in pvp if you use a warrior sub.
