I was looking at list of NF elite today on guildwiki. I noticed Rampage as One immediately as it has IAS and movement in the same skill, then I noticed it is catogrized as a "skill" not a stance nor preparation. I'm like woo, that means I can stack Rampage with a more damaging stance or defensive stance lke whirling defense. So is it really not a stance, and will stack???? It sounds overpowering.

It can't be a stance or prep, since it also applies to your pet. As far as I know you can use whirling at the same time, sure.

Well actually it could in theory be a stance (although its not) since other skills like Run as One are a stance and effect both you and your Pet

Yea, and the skill was buffed (and nerfed) in the same update. It used to have a cast time, so you stopped what you were doing (attacking, etc) and did an animation for a second which was annoying since it put distance between your target and you - but now it can be activated automatically like a stance in the middle of attacking

The "nerf" of course (I dont think it matters) is that your pet has to be alive to activate it. Like all "As One" skills (though if I remember correctly Run as One might still be bugged and useable without a pet...might have fixed it too though)

Seriously, this is THE skill for beastmasters.

For a Real Beastmaster pretty much no elite compares to Enraged Lunge (a strong argument can be said for Fero Strike in some builds). Pets already have a "pet only" version of Rampage As One called Call of Haste, they don't need you wasting the elite on something like this.

If you got some AoE,s they will harm the pets too hindering the skill...but yes, their pressure output with this skill increase dramatically.

Thumpers could have perment IAS and movement boost with this, but now that the skill ends when your pet dies, pets are prime targets.

Who cares? Comfort Animal -> RaO. It can die again then for all I care, I'll do the same. It doesn't end when your pet dies (unless it got nerfed again), it just can't be activated unless your pet is alive. I love that everybody attacks my pet instead of me, it means I'm alive bashing them.

And yes you can have RaO + a stance, but it is only worth it with stances that aren't IAS or speed increase, since those are capped and won't stack.
