Okay, Problem:
guildwars will sometimes pop up a "Disk full!" error, and then shut down. Usually happens when I load a new area, and its getting annoying. The thing is, I have 29 gigs of free space on the hd I tried to run a defrag, no result.
If you need more info, I'll get it for you, just tell me
Many thanks!

How's your hard drive formatted, is it in FAT32 or NTFS? If it's in FAT32 then you maybe having problems with the size of the GW.dat file. If it exceeds 4GB then FAT32 based systems can have a problem with it.

it is FAT32, and my gw.dat is over 4 gigs too, so I guess thats it. But can I do anything? Thanks Azagoth

Microsoft has decided to switch from fat32 to the NTFS format. The debate on which is better or worse is still raging. However, NTFS is now microsoft's format of choice and is here to stay. The conversion should not cause you to lose any data; however, I certainly would backup before large scale conversions like this. 1. Click Start 2. Select Run from the Start menu 3. Type cmd in the textbox and click OK 4. In the command window that opens type the following: convert c: /fs:ntfs |

Another thing is how big ios our hard drive. That can be a problem if the swap file is over 10-15 gigs. If that is the case you can lower how large the swap file is or get a larger hard drive and install it into your computer. These 2 will also help out if your main hard drive is not very large to begin with.
