Lag on 11/17/06

My settings are unchanged as of last night and I logged into Guild Wars today. It's getting so bad I can't see people walking smoothly, thumpers and sins are on me and I lose half my health bar before I realize I'm being attacked, and I can't smoothly rotate the camera, it is like a snapshot every 5 seconds if I start dragging/waving the camera around, and logging in and loading up every other player on screen takes forever.

I asked others in game, most people in game are experiencing the same thing except for people who are playing on dial-up (who are used to this by now), morons trying to troll by saying they aren't when it's game-wide, or I think people not playing in the U.S.

Anyone else having lag since this morning of this kind?

Been trying to play for the past 30 minutes; huge lag.

Can't move my character for about 30s, then it unfreezes; 15s later, another 30-45s lag.

What the hell? ISP is working fine, though.

i use DSL but i have no prob. maybe its only some comps (yes i do play on american server)

but ive been lagging a bit in general since last week

game servers seemed to just shutdown, along with their website...

We had to stop gvging early because our monks kept lagging hardcore. In fact, I think we went up against some rank 1100+ nubtrash, and one of our monks got stone daggered to death because he was lagging so hard.

i can get in for about 5 min then error 7ed out

I have not been able to connect for the past 2 days. It just hangs at connected.

My ISP is comcast, but I am able to ping every site I tried with no problems.

Frustrating.

I am on OC-3, and my pings to google.com have been coming in at 34ms with no timeouts, yet I had two error 7's tonight. There is definately something going on with the guildwars servers.

I play on Euro servers & have a 7.6Mb DSL connection. I too am having serious lag issues, so you guys are not alone. I had 3 err007 today alone, and trying to move the camera is ridiculously slow & jumpy.

i can surf any websites with no lagging..i can play other mmorpg with no lagg at all...but when playing with guildwar...lagging and 4 err 007 as of today.....sigh...something is wrong with the guildwar server

euro here 8mbit no problems ....

unplayable atm. never been like this
