3x Green Drop Weekend...

is this even active? I've killed 7 bosses now and have had 0 drops. Done solo and with sending the henchmen/heros way off the map till they are grey.

I did a few missions and quests yesterday too, just in case, and yet the drops don't seem to be dropping.

Anyone else experiencing this? I had better luck on the 3x green weekend in Cantha then Elonia, not to mention that no max items are dropping for me at all, from chests or mobs. ALL over L20 and most over L24. WTF is up with that?

Please study statistics.

Yep, it's definatly under way. One area I did had 4 bosses and I got 3 greens doing solo. Also was able to get a hard to farm scythe on the 3rd try.

Killed low level boss outside starter city on Elonia, got green mesmer staff "stormbringer" Sure it's low level but hey it's green lol having gotten anything green before this since nf launched.

Do we have to have a thread similar to this everytime we have an increased "DROP RATE" event?

It's just an increased chance, people. It doesn't mean that because the chance is increased, you should get it in 2/3/20/30 runs or something. It's still based on your luck, more or less.

And if I remember correctly, Stormbringer has an Energy Storage requirement, thus makes it an "Elementalist Staff".

few things that can be:

1 you haven't had the luck to find anything yet
2 you had allready overfarmed the boss
3 the 3X code hasn't been implented yet
4 They implented the code wrong (happened before with some UW stuff not dropping)


Just keep trying, eventualy you get one

No, you post something meaningful to start with, we have tons of similar threads already.

Even with 0.1 drop probability (unlikely), you killed 7 bosses with no drops. 0.47 chance of that happening.

Not bad odds IMO... my guildmates are really starting to hate me

I am wondering, the 3x change is applied when with henchmen too?
Because if not, where is the 'never fight alone' spirit?

I think the 3x chance is applied always. Why won't it be?

Strictly luck of the draw, and usually with increased rate weekends I don't get anything at all.

This time I said, I would really like The Darksong for my new Paragon. If I could get just that one green I would be happy.

So, about 15 minutes after the weekend began, I went outside Honur Hill with my usual map cruise party of five, and got The Darksong first try. At once I was happy! Mission accomplished! Weekend over! Back to business as usual, and yet who knows? Maybe I'll find another green somewhere. But then again, probably not.

Yeah... 9 boss kills... cleared the place where Mhedi is several times (all of the people in area, boss-wise) and did some random stuff between the first vabbi town and the chantry of secrets. killed like 3 guys there. nothing. got a gold scroll though.

*Before* the weekend officially kicked off, I got a green ritualist wand drop. Was quite a shock since in the year plus that I've played, it's only the fourth green that has ever fallen for any of my girls .

Hopefully tomorrow I can convince The Mindclouder, Nightbringer and Skybringer to drop as well .
