Is a vigor rune always needed?

Hi, sorry if this was posted the wrong space but I don't know where else to put it.
I was thinking about, for my warrior, replacing my major vigor with a rune of clarity. I have a hammer rune (sup), absorption rune (sup), tactics rune (minor), and strength rune (minor). I think the clarity rune would provide a major benefit to my warrior, as blindness and weakness are easy ways to get shut down, but on the other hand, +41 health is nice. What do you guys think?
BTW, I intend to be playing both PvE and PvP with this armor set.

No reason to have two tactics runes. Replace one of those.

Probably depends on where you're playing and what enemies you're facing. If you're solo farming somewhere where blind and/or weak are a problem then the clarity might outweigh the health. If you're going with hench or heroes then condition removal will probably be happening and the health will be of more benefit. Or you could keep the vigor and replace the strength with clarity depending on your build.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong here, but I'm pretty sure the HP penalty from superior runes (other than vigor and absorption) overrides the HP bonus from vigor runes. Example:
You have 400 HP.
You pop on a sup vig (+50) for 450.
You add a superior rune (-75).
You will end up with 325 HP, not 375.
Since they're both "non-stacking", the vigor rune will not stack HP on top of the -HP Superior rune. Again, someone correct me if I'm wrong but I'm 95% sure this is the case.

wrong. the superior vigor will give u +50 health, then the superior w/e rune will take 75. for a net loss of 25health.
400 + 50 -75 = 375
400 + 50 -75 = 375

2) replacing your only vigor rune (a sub par one at that) with a rune of clarity effectively trading 41 health for a draw condition, or a mending touch, or a mend ailment, or an rc, or etc.
3)If your set on repacing a rune, drop minor strength. Strength is garbage and +1 to it is not going to make any sort of difference except to hit breakpoints on sprint.
My reccomendations: if you're really set on using him for pvp, get a superior vigor first. then, if you really want a rune of clarity, drop the minor strength for it.
And unless you have a ton of money (I'm guessing probably not since you don't have a superior vigor) you should use a pvp-only character, they're pretty much better in every way now.

For PvP you cannot give up your Vigor rune. Ever. Absorbsion is largely a PvE focused rune: it only reduces damage from physical attacks.
Bear in mind you can always craft two pairs of gloves with different runes on them, one for PvP, one for PvE. Perhaps saving the Clarity rune for areas where you know you're going to be blinded, Dragon's Lair for example. But most of the time you should be able to trust your monks to remove conditions for you.
