This should be in the Questions and Answers forum...

...but look around the area before Camp Hojanu and in the area after it, I think I spotted a couple of Elder Crocs.

I've noticed this first hand since I've been trying to charm one and the Heket ALWAYS get them charmed first.

Which makes me want to ask the question.....are they even charmable by players or not? If this is Anets way of playing games, I think it stinks. If dire crocs were not meant to be charmed then don't tease us into believing that it's possible.

If they are meant to be charmable then give us a reasonable chance of doing so.

Like Elder Wolves in the southern shiverpeaks, they're ment to be charmed by monsters, not human players. The only reason players have been lucky enough to charm most elder is because other charmable animals wander into the mob and get taken first.

nicely resolved except for the BOOT to the head for bumping your own thread.
Since you haven't seen the elder crocs you obviously arent very far on the mainland since they are all over, you will see them.

If you really need an elder croc, go run solo into bog, clear around a res shrine with a croc within aggro, attack but dont kill.... let it kill you alot, then charm at level 15+
