Heroes: no upkeep enchantments?
Pandora's box
Had this wonderful idea to create a tank surrounded by monk heroes who continually provided him with enchantments like live vicariously, mending, succor, etc... They cast the enchantments, but nothing happens. And since their energy pips stay the same I must assume the enchantments are disenchanted at once. The only exeption I saw was succor, which worked until both health and energy are maxed out.

I figured upkeeps wouldn't work...
CyberNigma
yeah I tried a build as well and the monk managed to keep one upkeep on herself but not more than one. when I manually forced her to cast the others she would promptly remove it.
Rusty Deth
I only seen Divine Boon work so far, but that was on themselves...
I tried making Koss a wammo with Vigorous Spirit and Live Vicariously he put them on other people instead.

Disable the skills you want to upkeep (ctrl+shift and click on the skill), then put them on who you want to have them yourself.

Seems like anet doesn't want us to make 55hp heroes :P
But a great find, that not being able to upkeep enchants was killing me, or rather shahai the not so cunning

As noted above by explodemyheart you need to use manual control over your Heroes to use most maintained enchantments. Unlike exiled mat's apparently tongue-in-cheek claim, however, this was done to allow for Hero AI that is much more efficient at energy management than henchmen were in the past.
The Primeval King
wahahah... i'll be a 55... dunkoro can be a 55... we go our seperate ways and split the loot!
exiled mat
energy managment? hmmn... rather good explanation alex
I didn't thought of it that way
Although i do like that shahai's lvl is finally 20 so that mob's don't rush all at her Now i can "normally" finish the mission

Also seems likely that it's difficult to have them be automatically used effectively because it's not always clear whom should be enchanted. However, in some future update it'd be nice if it could be changed so that if I force the hero to maintain an enchantment on somebody, the hero will automatically renew it if it gets removed by the enemy.
Also, I know of at least one self-only enchantment that isn't working (Healer's Convenant) - it should be treated like Divine Boon.

Tell that to my Ranger heroes... they never have any.
They do definatly work properly though if you ban them from using the skills. Which is probably better since it means they don't randomly cast maintainables during battle. They don't seem to use Mantra of Inscriptions as well as i'd like though.
