My account is not currently authorized to play Guild Wars?

Hi~
My friend bought Guild Wars (the normal) yesterday and gaved me the friends code for 2 weeks/10 hours.
So i downloaded the client, and ingame i did create account with acc. key
Everythings ok, next, next.. I can log in, and then in the char. screen there is a message in red: Your account is not currently authorized to play the game. If i try to use that acces key or add it to my acc. it says it's already in use
What to do?

I dont think people here are able to help you as they cannot check if a key is valid or not. I think it is best to report this anet via their supportpages (choose regio)... i think anet should be able to see why the key isnt working. And MAYBE they can fix the problem or give you a new buddykey (not sure if they do such things).

If by "normal" you mean prophecies, I can give you another key. I have a few of those sitting around. PM me if you want me to send you one, however I am work currently and won't be able to send it for another 8 hrs or so.
