hahaha and here are three reasons why:

1) the new saying in elonia is "never fight alone." so stop going by urself and collecting all the dang greens! yes you! with the 55!

2) all the nerfs (SS, SoJ, SB), duh...

3) one of my monk templates i titled "[MONK] 55 Solo Monk" has mysteriously disapeared...TWICE.

anyways, it's just a thought! don't take it serisouly. lol

to get rid of all farmers (or most of them anyway), just nerf protective spirit right??? but then again, how many of us would still play GW if they did? o_O

1> Farming is encourage in groups. Farming is more interesting in groups. I done my fair share of soloing but it is a game that was desinged to be played in a group.

2> This was done to reduce the income of the gold farmers. There is ways around it. Items are cheap these days anyway.

3> Game bug.

I don't think ANet is against farming per se. Gaile has repeatedly come out and said that ANet is aware that some players like to farm and they provide areas for that. ANet is however, against commercialized farming, as in bots and EBay'ing. The recent changes may be geared towards that.

DO you know how many people PvE in GW? If they ALL farmed max lvl places it would be a problem but even seemingly how many do now, they are only a small percentage to the game population.

Farming is never going to die. Never.
