Hey, I'm Loshi. I'm a warrior, just got a Crocodile, and would love to make him Dire.

Now, I know HOW, it's just that it seems all the builds I find for rangers to make their pets Dire through XP farming are for ranger primaries.

Is there any chance one of you ranger guru's can cook up a build for a non-primary ranger to farm XP to make their pet dire?

Thanks a lot, very appreciated.

Max tactics and Beast mastery, bring cyclone axe with no axe mastery and therefore no axe damage, use cyclone to charge up for bonneti's quickly, but basically use the stance and healing signet to stay alive, while spamming pet attacks. Bonneti helps you stay alive and spam those attacks too.

Bar: Bonnet's, Cyclone Axe/Heal Sig), Charm, Symbiotic Bond, Pred Pounce, Enraged Lunge, Predatory Bond, Call of Haste,

This should give you +80 with enraged, and constant healing from bond. Heal sig would be good, and cyclone really just charges it up faster in case of emergency... dunno, never tried. Should work outside of ice troll caves, might work in higher level areas as well.

I'll try that build versus Minotaurs outside of ICe Tooth Cave. Thank you very much.

I'm using the build you suggested, ith 12 BM, 11 Tac, 11 Str, and instead of Cyclone/BOnetti, I'm using DolyakSignet/WatchYOurself, and using a Zealous weapon. Works great on these Minotaurs. I'll try your build when I hit trolls. Oh, and I dropped Pred Pounce for Call of Prot, since my croc is only lvl 6.

Just use the many BM buffs for your pet to make him receive 0 dmg. Then run around and aggro enemies, lose aggro and let your pet tank the dmg. Then spam pet attacks so they die quickly. Equip only an offhand item so you dont deal dmg, and soon enemies will die.

Sounds like it works with a warrior too...
