There was a starter ele quest on shing jea island in Factions that needed one but I doubt there's a connection.

rumor has it you can trade them in for a coin, buuut i dont know where.

It's for Koss' Elixir quest in Nightfall, if I remember correctly.

Well, I didn't need it for Koss' quest but wiki says that it's one of those that might be for a future or 'lost' quest, like the Preserved Iris Flower.

if i recall correctly, during the quest, "suspicious bushes" you were told juni berries is perfect to make some... kournan juice?!

Problem solved.

problem not solved cous It doesnt says what its for or how to use it just that it might have something to do with the alchol you can buy for kouran coins

the quest on shing jea has nothing to do with it

I have done the quest of koss and the elixer it has got nothing to do with that you need to kill some plant and the npc takes out the berries of him you never get them your self

I went here afther I seached the wiki and asked people in town if they knew anything about it so I thought maby the gru people know more..

so anyone got a clue is it still to be updated?? or is there a collector of some kinde for them or some other use of it

Random ideas, throwing them here so they don't keep me awake at night :

Wasn't there a quest in Prophecies to feed Joe (Old Mac's pet hungry devourer) succulent juniper meat?

Maybe it will be a Wintersday thing? I think Juniper's are a pine tree of sorts, I think Mistletoe often grows on them as a parasite, do Junipers or their berries have any kind of Christmas connection?

Just in case there is a special Wintersday use for them, I might just collect a few, to sit next to my broken flute and tapestry shred.

more than likely there will be a collector instated in the game where they'll take say 3 of the Junni Berry Branches and either make a "Pie" or a Junni Berry Wine or Gin like which you can get from the smugglers in the command post, this is more likely what will happen, remember there's still supposed to be updates and such well into the new year so it might be instated later in a patch or maybe it's something like Gwen's things that may never be used? But my guess is that it'll become a "Pie" or a "cake" or some kind of ale.

The answer to the OP's question is ..... no one really knows for sure at this point in time.
