Chidehkir, Light of the Blind Solo

Hello, This is a guide to soloing Chidehkir, Light of the Blind. Now, This involves the tactic of taking the henchies and clearing out the mob around the boss, Now, before this turns into a flame fest saying "Oh well tahts not a solo build!11!" It technically is. Sure you might not be soloing the mob around, but you ARE soloing the boss, and thats the whole point. If i wanted to take out the mob, it would be called "Soloing The Insects around Chidehkir, Light of the Blind Guide!"

Summary / "The How To"

Start Out in Nundu Bay, take Full henchmen, It doesnt matter which ones, as long as you can take out the mob around Chidehkir. Enter marga coast and head to the boss following the route in the "Where?" Link, up above. Once there, Start targeting the mob around him, then kill them, once killed, Right away send your henchmen running. Just get them away from the boss. Once he stops following, Send your henchmen Wayyyyy far from you, so when you get back to Chidehkir, the hench names are Grey. Now, Position yourself somewhere behind something so he cant hit you with his wand attacks, (I Suggest the rock thats near his spawn point). Cast Famine, And then place SoF, SS, and Ignorance on Chidehkir. (Ignorance lasts for 14 seconds, recharge is 10, Use ignorance whenever you think the time is best.) Make Sure you always have SoF and SS on him. Once his health starts going down because of famine, Hit Empathy and spam Mind wrack whenever you can, Make sure your watching SS though, Always have it up.

With that said, He should be down in no time, I'm sure this build works for other bosses in NF, if you do find some, Please be willing to share!

Side Note: Ignorance can be replaced by Diversion / Wasterals Worry / Back Fire / Ect. when farming other bosses

If you really feel like it, you can take a buddy human monk along and be nice and let him cap the elite skill, which is really nice.

Nice build, BTW, I'll definetely be trying it out sometime after I beat NF. I noticed that this boss was kinda... there 0.0 really close to the sanctuary too.

Better way to solo Chidekir (no henches and you can kill the little critters if your heart desires so)

16 illusion
9 healing
9 prot

Protective Spirit
Healing Breeze
Illusionary Weaponry
Sympathetic Visage
Ancestor's Visage
Essence Bond
Balthazar's Spirit
Mending

You can swap attributes if your Mo/Me for 12 illusion, 8+3 (+1 from head when casting BA) divine, 10 + 4 prot and use SoA instead of healing breeze and blessed instead of essence

He dies in a minute +1-2 minutes going there. Make sure you pull Chidekir away from his spawn as a Kournan patrol goes there and you can get KD'd by a meteor at a bad time or shatter enchanted

^True, But for people like me who dont have a monk or mesmer, this is a pretty good farm

A sliver armor earth elementalist can take him down, along with the other 2 bug bosses in the same map AND the bugs around them. It just takes some tenacity to get the result on the assassin with the two healers.

The assassin boss doesn't have 2 healers in his spawn, you just have to be careful and wait till the other healer moves away a little bit...

This build is already posted, but yea..

A guy posted it way back for farming a ranger boss in Factions, and I put it through the hoops and found like 10 other bosses varients of this build worked for.

I posted it on Wiki as "R/Me Famine Farmer" and it is a tested farming build now.

I added information about Potential new bosses it works on because of Henchie Flagging, and added these two bosses to the list it works on.
