Found a blue vabbian defender that is req 8, max AL 16 and has an inscription slot.

What is a shield like this worth?

I take it you mean the item's writing is blue and not the colour of the shield itself...

If so, then agreed, no market value.

Don't merch.. maybe give to a guildy/friend. Perfectly functionable.
