Guild Wars: Vengeance

I'm sure you've all heard of the new campaign in the Guild Wars series, Vengeance. I read that Vengeance a desolate ice region, north of Ascalon. This area shares host to nomadic dwarves, as well as elves and the chars homeland! The campaign is supposed to be more oriented towards PvRl, Player Vs Real Life, a new system of playing. New additions to the game will include RL skills, such as firebuilding, crafting armor, cooking and more! I only know a little about the game so far, and I'll posting when I know more. The game is supposed to host an auction house, and more PvP arenas, a ship style arena, and a melee styled free for all combat arenas.
I'll post when I read and learn more!

i really thought one of the new arenas would be the inside of one of those swan-ships... or at least a guild hall designed like one. I never played runescape, but I think a free for all 'king of the mountain' would be kind of fun... or something to that effect. I guess HoH IS kinda this already for teams... but something low-key would be cool...
/expand upon pvp map and game types, but it seems they ARE adding one new pvp element in each chapter so far... hopefully a trend.

isnt that something us hardcore gw fans know about? on a serious note, if done right it could work... i mean what is this really though, something we do in pve that we can then utilize in towns? (what i am using as my basis for understanding this would be the 'cooking' meaning you could 'craft' bean cakes iboga salads or whatever...)
/if there is a unique way of doing this that wont unbalance gameplay as it is now (in all forms), then fine Im all for it i guess.

Just imagine... a RS type of fighting where a guy attacks and another starts eating because they got hurt. OH GOD! I also don't see how cooking or firebuilding would be implemented into the game, because our game obviously doesn't use any potions or food. And why the hell are we going to lean to WoW and RS now?

This looks like an amalgamation of every "I want/we need" in the forums. You get a great game and they all want it to look like every other game they've played. I suppose the new game will raise the level cap also and give you ever changing max damage on weapons. Will we have to use our precious storage to carry the food we will cook? And the materials to build that house?
And the ever popular auction house - does anyone think that will get the traders off the local chat? Players who don't want to stand around trying to sell or buy things should use out-of-game auction sites or sell forums. They seem to be under utilized.
