So,you are actually thinking of quiting GW because of a title that you can't get? Like being a quitter isn't bad enough, but after you invest so much time playing, haven't you learned anything about the game?
It's more than titles, and gold, and fame. What about the people you have met while playing? The things you have accomplished besides that 1 stinking title?
What about the fun of playing the game?
For once, I can say in total honesty... I am disgusted with your lack desire to be the best at what you have done. You are too willing to throw it all away,eh? Then jump...we don't need another title whiner anyway. What a waste...

Easy now.
At some point I will stop playing GW and no doubt so will you. The question is for me, is that time now.
I do not fell that being upset about having done the same work as others, yet them having a title and me not having it is unreasonable 'title whining' and I suspect that if you had experienced the same you too would feel disgruntled.
Yes there are more aspects to the game than just title hunting, but title hunting is the aspect that had for me created the motivation and desire to keep playing the game in a sustained way. That I have been rewarded for this by being denied a title that other have has clearly undermined this motivation for me - and again that to me seem pretty straight forward and understandable? Yes I have met intersting and nice people playing GW and some of those will remain friends long after I stop playing GW. I have also met some pretty stupid and obnoxious people playing the game too. However I alos meet people nice or not in the real world and for me 'meeting new people' is not a motivation for continuing to play GW. I am perfectly able to do so regardless of if I play GW or not.
I suggest that as far as GW players are a community , then what 'we do not need' any more of in such a community are people willing to aggresively jump on other players with critisims or complaints about the game in some kind of semi religious manner - the cult of GW first law thou shall not critise GW.
The specific issue is that I have done the work for a title yet do not have the title and others do. This may well be resolved soon and I hope it is. The wider issue , in my perception at least, is that Arena net take the most dedcated of players for granted to some degree - and this does not feel every nice. In analogy terms it feels to me like being a customer of a restuarant where I eat 3-4 times a week and seeing the staff and owners giving priority and fawning over new customers and largely ingoring me and my needs, on the basis that I will be there anyway and keep comming back regardless. Like I say this feeling may not be a reflection of reality and may well be a emontional response , but the feeling exits for me none the less and affects my decision as to weahter to carry on playng GW or to call it a day.
For the moment I have decided to carry on with GW (I am going for the lightbringer max title now to completye my big deal title as I just can not face edge scraping right now) - but these things add up. For me titles are one of the main drivers for my continued concerted play. For others this may not be true but for me it is. Working towards such a title to discover that having done the work, others have the title and I do not, feels unfair undermines my enjoyment of the game and ultimately along with other factors wil inform my decision on playing or not. If that is not understandable to you or you consider it unacceptable title whining then so be it.
