Region Specific PVP

So after my 20th "No opposing party" I'm beginning to think, surely there are 24 people on Earth who want to do Fort Aspenwood? It's late at night here, so I can understand the lack of people in Euro disctricts, but surely America should still be active? I remember something similar happening to me in the International Districts of TA too.

So, are any of the PvP arenas region specific? Are American/Korean/Japanese players watching the same countdown timer as me? Or once my fellow Euro's have gone to bed is that it?


PS It's gotten to >40 no opposing parties while I've been typing this.
