Story Line
Feme Assassin
Guys according to gaile gray(as i've read in this site)sais that chapter 4 will take place in antarctica and if we consider the hidden spoiler in the manual
""In 221 AE Cantha begins trading with Tyria,Elona and the northen lands""
I am sure next chapter will be somewhere north. So anyone can think of a good story line for GW4.If yes right your thoughts here.

Off-topic: Antarctica is in the Southern Hemisphere, so it isn't a "northern land".
On-Topic: I like the idea of the northern lands. I would like to see some viking-like races within the game.

Hmm I see someone saying that he saw someone else posting something that Gaile Gray MIGHT have said...
That, and the fact that she 'said' something about northern region similar to ANTARCTICA (southern hemisphere), makes me highly doubt this all.
Back on topic: 'Frozen Throne' storyline ftw

We all know we are going to have giants so put them in the story
lapsus
Hmm a Beserker class? or maybe Druids al la Diablo 2 yay!
Maybe though something like Elder scrolls: Morrowind, with "A dark presence attacking and killing the surroundings..." Or who knows maybe global warming caused by a massive increase in the dark things from outside the world..

I would like to fight something thats not already dead, or hidden in chapter 4 you know?...we fought undead in Tyria and an undead lich, Aflicted/Zombies in cantha and the spirit of a dead bodyguard and we fought margonites in elona..wich are like restless spirits of somesort...I dont really know what they are actually..and of course a god that kept whispering into people while hidden...
I hope that at least from the first chapter of the new trilogy we know who are we fighting against.

Travelers spot the siteings of big footprints in the mountains of Iron Horse Minds.
People have been complaigning about Screams from across the land. Rumors of disasterious ambushes on the other side of the mountains with few survivors to tell the story. They say The creatures are big and Cut off your balance to escape thier presents Thier 3 to 1 eyes on heads glow like the moon in the sky.Merchants come back saying they have seen some of the big..."Giants." Weakneses as some run from sticks and rocks thrown at thier eyes, and some die from a spear head thrown to the pupil. They have seen many diffrent shapes and sizes of these giants some fly, some swim, and many others walk the frozen grounds.
Ascalon scouts have spoted Huge ice domes where they have seen a veriety of creatures come through there. Merchants come back to share thier treasure of minature weapons found in loot. They have shown mini staffs hammers shields swords wands and axes, some regular size weapons where also spoted, but thier powers could not be used by any of the proffesions. So the GHT team (Great Henchment of Tyria)went out to see the distant lands. As we waited and waited for thier arrivel back no one has herd any word of them. No rumors, nor guesses of thier progress. A messinger who looked as a slave of some sort had traveled with un readable hand writting no one though this wasen't good news. A party went out to the lands to search and changed history forever. As distant necros, worriors monks, ritualist, elementalist, assassins, dervishes, mesmers, and paragons.
They changed the climate rapidly with thier spells and tools that they used. Ice began to melt, and mighty powers became unwraped from the sheets of ice keeping them in from the world to see. Creatures moved side to side on each other with no rome for all of them there was only one thing to do. A war started out as races, by races of animals began to fade away the survival of humans and non humans became a struggle. Many have tried to move over near the gates of tyria but have failed to do so. Messages sent by wierd looking animals from pet tamers stuck in this war have sent messages reguarding the henchmen most say that the hemchmen are traped with many others in a kingdom un known. Some say they saw a race of civilized charr animalls and small little men. They have seen people turn into a creature in a matter of seconds An army of this kingdom has ben said to rule all of this land. These cow like creatures speak of the titans and talk of them being thier devil to bring an unbalance to the world. These creatures speak of an outcast from thier world and have captured the tyrians for thier pocessions they have seemed to have similar items as the ascalon civilization does they have carvings of themselves, many robes and books they read, coins, and jewelry.
They spoke of the end of our world as creatures they say living in the water so evil and so unwanted, they say to have been abbadons children, the water is rising and floating twords the inner tyria region. The cursed sea creatures are being revealed to the world one last time.
most of this was just on and on ideas so if some of it dosent make sense just try and put it together

The Lost Ice Kingdom
A place where creatures traveled, shared thier rumors, and experience with other usefull things. Back in a time before the Charr invasion many creatures saved the continent from distruvtion. The charr where big fans of elemental powers and most of the time studied giants (for some reason the ywhere really interested in them like the yeven worshiped them as a god). They loved earth fire water and many other natural resources. There was a time when Giant sea creatures roamed the northern lands with evil minds that was desperate to kill anything that moved. Someone had to stop this evil power roaming thier lands so the charr stood up and locked these creatures in an icy chamber under water.
After a short period of time charr began to understand the power of fire in the northern lands how bad it was for the enviroment. They where scared of the icy chamber being unlocked to unleash the giants they did not want to be in thier home. The charr callapsed and started riots. All of the fire elemantel soldiors became outcast and anyone else who like using or even talked about fire in the northern lanes. They eathier got killed or run out of the kingdom
The outcast charrs became one in a big group to witch the charr knew they had to get rid of before it got out of hand and the group grew bigger. The outcast got pushed out of the northern lands with no choice. The outcast had no where to go, nothing to eat, and they dident even know the enviroment they where in. They had no choice to what they had to do. The charr had to find the closest settlement and take it over they came out of the mountains and found many new plants and animals. Then they Found Askalon, many charr went in to take over but failed because of the technology they had and the unknown powers.
The outcast had to think of a way to take over the city, they needed a powerful weapon something they could make easily. They then made a cannon type of weapon large and powerful. It was run by fire power and rock, this machine destroyed everything and changed all of history for tyria. Many found the machine after but it was in horrible condition. Artisans began making machines that threw rocks and slung them high in the air for long distances.
it all fell in the proph place from there on out.soon after things settled they started a religion and her about these titans just like in thier land, but these titants where made of fire.Back in the northern lands no one cared for these outcast even though the popultion had decreased massivly they still rules the Ice Kingdom
thought of this off the top my head too sry if it dosent make sense in some points plus its like 2 in the morning

i would love to see a civil warrior between the gods in gw4
lets say grenth betrays the rest and allies with menzies and dhumm to awake the ancient giants(giganticus lupicus) it really fits its similar to north viking history with loky and ragnarok and we know gw4 will be somewhere with cold and ice
so a possible comeback of dhuum and an awakining of the giants would be great

Global warming causes the northern icebergs to melt which causes the northern lands to get extremely colder. Since the Charr worships fire and hates cold, they invaded Tyria for warmer territory. BOOYAH!

how can you narrow this down any further??? I am in pre studying the enviroment talking to npcs well i talked to rurik in ascilon (pre) and he told me i know you must think these are the dark times with the charr attacking from the north and all the north? wait is that where gw4 takes place and even outside pre you see alot of char in the upper north of asckilon. So if guild wars four does not involve charr they better explain why in the game

omg i hate that i have all these messages someone else post something XC
anyways maybe they arent running from charr but all the charr where running from a great threat because the only reason they shot down the ascalon wall was to reach the south and i did not know that the big threat u ask? the Giants dun, dun, dun.
alright im re editing this because of everything i have been studying and facts that i have uncovered
I am going to say this has to do with the orr, maybe the spirits ambush the earth or, raom the earth again and everyone thinks this is a threat and are scared they will rebuild a even more powerful kingdom then they had that is bigger than the rest and im still strongly agreed about the giants and they will be involved in this since the bones say they where before. And everyone is to distracted with this spirit hole coming and the ambush of the orr that they dont even notice what Palawa Joko is doing. The whole wolrd is too bussy standing guard against the so called "threat" I can tell you right now those tunnels that people are guarding are not the only tunnels Palawa Joko could have tunnels all over the world!!!! Since this would be his only chance to ride again he takes his chances....Its like history happining all over again, but with a new begining. Well I wont get in to detail unless i get more clues , hints from the npcs and bleached skulls.

Hate to be a Party-Killer but GuildWars:NightFall,Prophecies,Faction is a trilogy,GuildWars4 will have nothing to do about the GW Trilogy,so no connexion whit the 5 gods or anything about GW,they might as well change the name of there new game
For the Northern Lands trade i think they were talking about the Shiverpeaks,it "can" be said like a different country cuz a different race live there(Dwarfs).
But who know it might have a connexion whit viking only whit a "viking subjet" chapter i dont see a really good story,i think a good story must have some magic and all,and when i say Viking it making me think "PURE-MELEE WARRRRR ROOOOXOOOOR" lol

Ive posted this somewhere before but can't seem to find it. Ive also expanded on it some.
Ch4: Guild Wars: Ragnarok
After the devistation left in Tyria, Cantha, and Elona by Abaddon and his generals a group of adventurers go exploring for new lands, untouched by the darkness that has befallen the lads the past few years. They decied to head north, in the direction ancient scrolls say Elona had traded with in the time of the Primevil Kings. Heading north, around the Magumma jungle, they find the lost kingdom. But what awaits them is anything but "untouched".
For the past 200 (or about) years the humans here have been driven into slavery. Their slave-masters: the Charr! Our hero's join a rag-tag group of rebeles based on an island just of the coast in freeing the northern people.
Durring their fight our heros learn the Charr are not their true enemy. They themselves have been forced into slavery by a race of giants. Many of the Charr excaped this slavery when the Titans came, pretending to be their gods. Those that remain are willing to join the humans in their fight (after we prove to them we could actually win).
Our heros learn this race of giants is the same race that walked Tyria thousands of years ago. After fighting their way through the giants homeland our heros come face to face with their leader. Through him our heros learn that the giants work for a race known as the Fay. The Fay are a race of pure magical beings, born from The Mists. And it is in The Mists they must be defeated....
Explanation: This chapter would have a Norse theme. The starter island would be based on the Brittish Iles. Other enviroments would range from thick forests, mountains, cold plains, and icy wastlands. The giants are based on the race of giants/gods that were the enemy to Odin, Thor, and the other Norse gods. The Fay are a reference to the "fairy people" that appear in many of the myths of northern Europe (including King Arthor and many of Shekspear's plays).

My guess, based on the fact that Tyria is the Northernmost continent that it would tie into the "danger" that the castles along the "Watchtower Coast" were built to prepare for a long time ago. Check out the text description of Beetletun if you need a reminder:
http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/Beetletun
My guess is that it's something winged or something that swims.

In the description of Beetletun, the "now crumbled towers stand like ancient stone soldiers still awaiting the arrival of that mysterious enemy from across the great saltwater lake called Giant's Basin."
It is speculated that this may be a hint to a future plot of a new Guild Wars chapter to come.

In Ch5, from the newly liberated northern people we learn about a vast and open land to the west. The land is said to be mostly uninhabited and filled with wealth and resources. Apon ariving we find the "mostly uninhabited" is entirely false. The continent is home to four waring tribes, each with their own panthion of demi-gods. Our players will fight for their side of choice. In the end, these "demi-gods" are nothing more then more creatures similar to the Fay from Ch 4. They are using these tribespeople to fight their own personal battles between eachother, using them as little more then pieces in some mystrious game.
The gameplay of this one would be a great PvP and PvE combo. New charactors start by choosing their side, while charactors from other chapters would choose a side through a series of quests. The four tribes would be based on four diffrent "types" of North American Indians; North East, South East, Great Plains, and South West (possibly a 5th tribe of North West origins). Each tribe would have it's own storyline, some of the missions would be the same, but the goal and story behind it diffrent. The PvP would come in with presistant battles. You would join a battle already in progress, with any number of players in it (up to some limit) and attempt to earn points for your side. Like in Factions, earning points would move the border of your tribe.
Chapter 6 would be based on Aztech and Mian cultures (South American Indians). Prophets from this land would arive on all other continents, warning of the impending doom of our world and the fate of all those who do not worship their gods. These prophets even have a date for this destruction...and it is close.
This chapter would finally revel to us the origin of the Massurat and the Seer's race. The remnants of the Seer's race are who these prophets worship! They are not the ally they make themselves out to be in CH1. Not only do they work for the being that is the master of the Fay, but their war with the Massurat was caused by their worship of this Fay. The Massurat refused to worship this "god" (ironic isn't it) and the resulting war nearly destroyed them both. We would also learn that they both come from a phisical world much like our own, created by the gods long before our world. This would open up the oportuning for future chapters (or an actually GW2) to take place in their world.

Feme and Tide, use correct modern ENGLISH grammar. Really, it isn't that hard.
There is about 200 millions of these threads in here right now and 99% of them are full of random spams and crap. This is one of them.
Unless you got something extremely awesome with evidence backed up, go write your thoughts in Fanfic or something. However, I doubt they will let you post there without correct grammar. And just for hints, people like their stories long, developed, and original.
And for the last time: Chapter 4 will have little to do with GW 1, 2, and 3, so stop speculating pointlessly in the wrong direction.
And no, Grenth will not turn on his fellow Gods, because then Anet will have to explain how Necromancers will get their powers and what new God Assassin, Ritualist, Ice Elementalists, and Dervishes who uses Avatar of Grenth going to worship.

And no, Grenth will not turn on his fellow Gods, because then Anet will have to explain how Necromancers will get their powers and what new God Assassin, Ritualist, Ice Elementalists, and Dervishes who uses Avatar of Grenth going to worship.

Assassins also follow Lyssa - in fact, it's from the Lyssan shrines that they get their bonus.
And depending on just how much of Abaddon's portfolio Kormir has taken, Water Elementalists may already have split loyalties - Abaddon used to be god of water as well as secrets.
That said, as gods of death go, Grenth is pretty benign

There is about 200 millions of these threads in here right now and 99% of them are full of random spams and crap. This is one of them. For the record, your English is still probably better than my fluency in any other language, so feel free to consider me a hypocrite, but I think the point still stands. I don't post on forums in any of the languages I've half-learnt, but if I did you could bet I'd be watching the native speakers posts carefully to learn enough that I didn't need to make the second language excuse. Even if it does take a few years.

On topic: At present, all we can really do is speculate. But hey, speculating can be fun - as long as it doesn't try to disguise itself as inside information. And, to be perfectly honest, I wouldn't trust anyone saying they have inside information, since if they are putting such information on a public forum, there's almost certainly been an NDA broken somewhere.

In Chapter 4, we will see the coming of the Great White Handkerchief.
The Universe was sneezed out by a being called the Great Green Arkleseizure, and to defend this world, we must fight the Great White Handkerchief's attempts to wipe us off the face of the Universe.
