Make updates more.. worth it

Well... arenanet did a very pointless update recently and i would rather see it being spent for the massive request for a auction house here is that update.


Added two new commands, /bonus and /special, to create items that were previously created using the /bonusitems command. The /bonus command creates items that may be created many times (such as preorder items). The /special command creates items that may be created only once per account (such as collector’s edition items).

What was wrong with /bonusitems ??? exactly nothing.. whats the point in coding that this is not a hate thread but a.net can you please work on things we would really like? Thank you

I wouldn't count this as pointless... And about the 'massive' request for an auction house... we all have been asking this for over a year now, did you really expect Anet implemented it so soon after the realease of Nightfall? Patience is key here.

What would you have them do? They can't (and won't) do Sorrow's Furnace siced updates every day..

the /bonusitems thing was added because they are going to make items (weapons and such) for sale in the Guildwars Store (according to gaile gray) and it is safe to assume the 2 new commands will be for that in some way.

When was that announced?

EH what? From all i ever heard or read from gaile, she doesnt think theyll do this, yes she mentioned they might some day add items like the collector edition gets that gives no advantage to anyone, but not in the wording that you used.

Most updates are to add something that is missing or fix something that is broken so i dont see any update as being pointless.

About the 2 new commands i think it has to do with some people that have deleted theyr minipet because it used the same command and that command also spawned the items that you can delete and respawn unlike the pet, so basicly i believe its just a safety feature.

/Bonus go ahead delete as much as you want.
/Special WARNING deleting this will destroy it forever and you will not be able to get it again.

Sigh... so you say is that if they find a bug, instead of fixing it, they should wait until they have a gameplay change update to make all changes?

Nope... this is an online game, it will change dinamically.

I know auction house is a big addition but.. why cant arenanet think about it its been asked for ages... it should/could of been done now we were spost to have guild storage too

show us the proof or stop the garbage.
