yes i have an active internet connection, and yes firewall is not blocking guild wars

Has this been a problem since install, or a recent occurrence? It could be that the error developed from logging in during "peak" times for your zone, where login can be a slow experience. Any recent updates to your machine with software or hardware?

fire wall and virus protection just happen to me took me a long time to think it was my virus protection lol

Take the pic again, but dont hide the unused icons in the system tray(lower right), and mouseover the connection icon, so we can see whats there. Also, have some shots of connection properties(edit out IP and such of course).
Check your port settings in firewall also, it may have been blocked automatically for some reason.

I'll second Gorebrex in saying the there's something in your connection or firewall properties that has an effect on your gaming. Also, what connection do you have?

Ill give it to Gorebrex also there is something wrong with your connection or even the firewall is blocking Guild Wars.
