ill post the response when i get one. but who agrees? many replies, and the team does NOTHING A WHOLE LOT OF THE TIME

All of these suggestions aren't even that big of a deal, and don't really matter.


I'd rather have the devolpment team working on making new campaigns, not wrapping gifts....

Hohoho you honestly think anet is going to sift through 10000 posts? that would take ages. They say they look here but I doubt it, there wouldn't be much point. I made a suggestion on a thread to have a vote sticky but one of the forum leaders turned it down to favor instead putting votes next to each of the links in the index. I honestly don't know how he alone will be able to do that lol, but we can hope he's the forum god he is

the point is, that if people like it, they should do it. its in their job description. not to play guild wars all day "oh I think this would work, lets try it."

They have schedules, they have bugs to deal with, they have families or friends to attend and couples to get laid with (or porno videos, whatever).

A suggestion forum do not goes like:
'Make a whish and thine whish shalt be granted to theeee!!'
It goes 'Please, please, pretty please, make this when you have spare time to...!'

After a suggestion, they still need to have time to deal with it, then think about what could do to the game, them think if it is possible, then...

Well... it's not easy. Be patient and remever that even many of the best suggestions can't be added sometimes.

No, they shouldn't. They should stick to whatever their vision for this game is. If you want a game where your opinion matters above all else, then code it. And those threads you posted weren't all unanimously in favor of the change.

Also, I'm happy with the developers working on fixing bugs and polishing the upcoming content addition (Elite mission/Razah).

oh the auction house. thats a pretty big development, I thought you were talking about the stuff like charm animal etc.

This is neither a suggestion in and of itself, nor is it likely to end well with the choice of words in the first post if left to its own devices.

However, on a closing note; Anet is by no means obligated to implement any player suggestions, and indeed, many companies can not, due to legal issues. Developers/Designers for Magic the Gathering supposedly can/should not even enter the "You Make the Card" forum because of this.
Many game, comic, book, movie, etc. companies will also reject suggestions straight off, regardless of how good or bad they may be, with a standard form letter saying as much.

One should keep the above in mind before judging Anet's apparent disinterest in ideas, whether actual, or simply perceived.
