This is just some build I've thrown together and will probably end up tweaking/using in the near future. Haven't tested, this is just on paper.

[[[D/*]]]

[[Attributes]]

Scythe Mastery 12+3+1
Earth Prayers 10+1
Mysticism 8+1

[[Equipment]]
Weapon: Mhedi's Vow, or a perfect Zealous Scythe of Fortitude (w/ +5 energy inscription)

Armor: Windwalker insignia on gloves, boots, head. Radient Insignia on chest, Survivor Insignia on legs.

Runes: +1 Scythe Mastery Headgear, Minor Mysticism on the headgear. Attunement rune on the chest. Vigor Rune on the legs, Superior scythe mastery on the gloves, and a minor earth prayers on the feet.

[[Skills]]
Mystic Sweep
Chilling Victory
Rending Sweep (or Lyssa's Assault)
Mystic Regeneration
Ebon Dust Aura
Zealous Renewal
Faithful Intervention
Staggering Force

[[Notes]]
Yeah yeah, no ressurect. Whatever, I never need a use for one in missions (I'm usually the one dead, or there are monks or heroes constantly rezzing) so I don't see it as much of a problem. Otherwise, this build is made to basically maintain enchantments and keep up some lower-recharge attack skills, in combination with Mystic Regen, and EdA, to be able to tank better while still handing out damage. Vigor + Faithful + Boon + ebon + regen = 5 enchantments, so whenever you hit you're getting +25 hp, and the constant regen from maintaining Mystic Regen. I guess you could fit the lightbringer signet in somewhere for the endgame parts, (most likely in the last slot) but otherwise, I can't really think of this as being that much of a flexible skill-wise build. To keep up the enchants and recasting, you'll need energy, and if you're going to help tank, or be tanking, than a zealous scythe (and mhedi's has +5 energy too, a bonus) would definetely help you there. >.>

Edit: After reworking it with a guildie, I've redesigned the build a bit. More like just changed one skill, but I think the Zealous Renewal definetely helps. Also updated the equipment. Also tested in RA, AB, and PvE. Energy Management is fine w/ 37 energy as long as you maintain Zealous Renewal, and I have no problem tanking. Casters get a little annoying, especially in PvP with spirit spammers and the like. Otherwise, it works perfectly for me. Have fun.

C&C Welcome, will post more as I test this. Thanks.

You need an ebon scythe to take advantage of EdA or it'd be pointless to have it. If you dont have an ebon scythe, you can bring either Dust Cloak or Staggering Force. Dust Cloak also causes blind, so maybe Staggering Force would be a better choice.

Not bad, but I would stick Mysticism at 9 or 12 for the breakpoint of energy return from enchantments.

Technically the skill says "for x seconds your attacks deal earth damage" but is it verified that this fills the 'wielding an earth weapon' req for eda?

Using staggering force etc does work... just remember only hits on enemies that are an attack skill cause the blindness, not just hitting the enemy

0.0 completely forgot about that, Nokkers. Yeah, I'd definetely take Staggering in the 8th slot then.

Pkest- on wiki, it confirms the use of an enchantment for the earth damage. Are you looking for the blind effect specifically against a light background?

Thanks for the info. It was late (very) so I must have just missed the blind triggering.

Tested out randomly playing around in AB tonight. All I can say is: I had a hell of a lot of fun with it. Stayed alive for the first 400 points, even against 3 mesmers 0.0 I might have gotten lucky, but my regen really kept me in there. Remember- always keep blinding EVERYTHING. Saltspray dragons go down way faster if they can't hit you.

Updated equipment and changed a skill. Also changed some attributes around.
