Hasn't been nerfed yet, but I am sure that a nerf is bound to happen eventually, and probably sooner rather than later.

I think it's been nerfed in the tuesday update, as far as I've seen in the wiki discussion about that update.

I'm not sure if there is another method of afk farming, but the one concerning Tormented Lands in Turai's Procession is no longer possible. The Whispers Informant has been removed from there quite a while ago.

That one has indeed been nerfed, i've farmed just to rank 1 ligthbringer for fun there, but it became too boring to do it all the time :P

The run was simple:
Get hench >Talk to whisper informant > walk around in circles for 10 points per round OR stand AFK (walking around was what i did )

The Spear of Torment way still works right now apparently, thoguh I havent tryed since the 22nd update.

It's still working atm, but i m keeping my fingers crossed and hopefully Anet won't nerf it within 1 week ;p that abt the time i need to get the MAX title

There was somekind of change done to the way the Spears of Torment work. Seems like more healing then before.
