Hey guys, sorry if this is in the wrong spot but wasnt sure where to put it. Um, I want to have on eof each character in pve as i can not decide which i like most, the only way i assume you can do this is by having 2 accounts. Am i correct in saying to have the second account i need another cd key?
and to activate that i need to install 2 copies of GW? or do i have to have 2 computers?
also, can i install GW on another computer aswell. I am looking to buy a new computer soon, its just i cant use on both computers at the same time with one cd key right? because it will be banned?

Second account = second CD key.
You can use both on the same computer with only one installation, you'll just have to put in the e-mail of the account you want to play with.
You also can't use the same account/CD key on two computers at once. It just won't let you.

Yep thanks, thats what i thought, but how do i activate that second cd key, do i have to reinstall the game with the second key or what?

On the Log in page where it asks for your username and password, at the bottom there is a button that says create account. Click that and enter the new CD key you just purchased and a diff e-mail address to create your 2nd account.

The same way you did it the first time except this time useing the secound cd key and when you get to the log on screen go to set up an accound with your secound e-mail address as well.

No you need to have 2 copies of the game, or at least have paid for another cd-key. And obviously to play both accounts at the same time you need 2 pc's with GW on each machine - a seperate cd-key for each account.

we only get 4 characters on one account. we should be able to make more than 1 account with 1 CD key.

I have seen this question being asked a few times, but I have never seen an answer to it, sorry if Im repeating someone else but ..... if I buy a 2nd account, I will have to unlock everything all over again right ??
My 4 chars now all have pumpkin heads and yule cap/horns, so Im not about to delete them to make room for a new character, I still havent unlocked everything on my primary account, despite playing for a long long time, and I really dont feel like starting all over again, from scratch.
And since I was mainly going to use the 2nd account for trying out PvP, that would be kinda selfdefeating, since any character I would make on the 2nd account, would miss all runes and skills.

A few days ago i bought my 2nd acount as well, and yes you need to unlock everything again from faction/fame/skills/runes/ EVERYTHING..
This is really boring etc, had some fun with making my new warrior tho..
Lvl 7 warrior in 15 k armor wearing Cripling/forti chaos axe etc..<-- even when wearing that, some people still preferred a lvl 11 with pre-searing armor because of his higher level..ehe..

Thanks for the quick reply Anti, too bad, I would have no problems buying several more copies of this game, as long as all my previous work wasnt lost completely, aah well, at least I get a few more slots in chapter 2.
Its just odd though, seeing as Anet does not make money on monthly fees, but rather on copies sold, that they would discourage the players from buying multiple copies ... odd.
