I am a man!!! I made a female character and got called sexy by a worrior!!!!!!

Even male characters are not immune to the Humping Warrior. You play long enough and you'll see them hump anything that moves. Yes, even each other. Saw a couple grinding a merchant once, poor guy. Also a friend has a male assassin who gets humped quite often by every other warrior who sees him. Poor 'sin.

My first character, a male warrior, was the biggest mistake I've ever made in my gw history, I'd sign a petition for an one-off sex & name change event anyday...

Anyway, your suggested solution won't work. I'll roleplay why, because i'm a real 1337 roleplayer.
"ZOMG! its a gurl!"
-"eh, yes. I'm a girl."
"Wanna see my wand?"

"It can poke and is magical!"

1) It still amazes me, that there are internet "virgins", who classify players by gender of the character they play.
2) What about women playing male characters (yes, met plenty of those). Perhaps, they too, got bored of all such insinuations.
3) GW is not a role-playing game, unless you really find a cosy corner with the few like-minded. So unlike rare few other games, characters are just toons, running around and serve mostly as armor/weapon display models.

/notsigned as the OP's idea would cause more problems
there are easier solutions that having such indicators
Most male models aren't good IMHO but that's why the new male models look like that do in most rpg games...metro-looking...geez...pretty boys...eek...since the warrior is portrayed by a male most of the time who has far too much body mass...
I am a male that plays both a female and male character and guess what? if I play on a female character then I'll outwit them and confuse em
it's roleplaying in a sense that you're playing a fictional character and a ingame character's gender doesn't symbolize a person's RL gender.
there are males who play females
there are females that play males
try the ignore list and it'll help ya out

I play male and female characters and am a guy. I usually get my gf to make my girl characters (ele, ranger, monk and paragon) so she is involved somewhat. I make my male ones (warrior, sin, necro, rit).
But I find more people stop to look at my sin doing the c/e dance than my when any of my girls are dancing... Really I can probably count on one hand the number of times I've been "grinded" by male characters when on one of my female chars. Although I did get whispered once that my ele had a really sexy name once which made me laugh, it's "Selena ..." so I guess it was just their personal preference.
Just ignore them, move or zone to a different district.

If youre getting "whammoed", a good thing to do is go just outside town if its really bad, unless you HAVE to be in town for some reason. I have only one male character(my mule), and play female mostly because they look a hell of alot better than the males.
@OP Youll see alot of what youve experienced in-game, you just have to take it with a shaker of salt.

Okay, so we've established two things:
If a male plays female characters, he's a perverted overweight nerd.
If a male plays male characters, he's a closet homosexual.
That said, getting sexually harassed by other players is pretty much a rite of passage these days. I'm certainly not endorsing it but in all likelihood it will eventually happen. Of course, it's usually a bannable offense, so feel free to report them.

if i (male, straight) am going to spend possibly years over many chapters staring at my favorite character it is a simple choice of 2 things using the warrior as example.
would i enjoy my time more spending all those hours staring at........
1 XENA the warrior princess
or......................(drum roll)
2 CONAN the butt ugly barbarian
my choice is obvious from my descriptions
XENA no contest at all

I've made several female characters and I've only been "hit on" once (which I quickly straightened out). I've never had some whammo "grind" on me. I'd say it's more how you play your characters than what gender they are. And yes, my female necro is like 16 months old.

What about making your model disappear for his instance if you ignore it and his dissappear to yours?
If that molester pest can't see you, he would not be able to do unpolit e things with emotes.

It would be interesting if you /ignored the person and it made them invisible to you...

Personally, when I'm on a female character and a male starts pulling that crap I go along with it. I wait a minute or two, and then reveal that I'm a male. Gives me a little satisfaction when I'm sitting in town trying to sell something to play on the fears of others. I wouldn't doubt that those individuals go take a long, cold shower with plenty of sin-removing, anti-bacterial soap after such an encounter. That thought makes me smile.

Can't say I like the idea of painting targets over real females' heads (and guys who want you to think they're female o.o) with this icon thing. Screams "harrass me please" to all the immature people in sight. :|

Kinda liking the idea of when you ignore someone, you go invisible to them, but eh. Imagine it wouldn't be that easy to implement, and it's not that hard to just zone. Voila, can't see me anymore, and can't whisper because you're ignored.

The way i see GW is that you create a character to perhaps represent you in the game world (roleplay). I know GW is not an MMORPG but its fun to be role play a character in a fantasy setting. As such I play male characters more often than female ones because its easier for me to relate to being a male myself. Most of my female characters are pvp ones and yes I have been hit upon by the humping whammos. All this really teaches is how real world good looking females would feel if you sexually harass them which in my opinion is a good thing.
Making an indicator would just make things worse...

about the harassment, yeah i do get harassed sometimes when i play female characters, but its so funny imo
i dont a say a thing about my real life gender in a game i just roleplay
if some morons are trying to find a date on a game, they have a problem imo
and its not wrong to do what i do, this is game and its all about having fun

Some funny **** in this thread .
If you're playing a female character:
a) Don't stand in town alone. Stand in the middle of the spawn point, or next to the merchant/xunlai, where many people congregate.
b) Never sit down, for any reason.
c) Stick to playing warriors, monks, necros, or dervishes. These classes typically don't draw as much sexual harassment simply because their armors aren't as suggestive.

2. Inappropriate behavior is not made OK because the player of the victim is female.

I do wonder what you name your character....
I think if you name something like "Sir Big and Long", on your female char, you would have less of that problem.

Amity and Truth
Interestingly enough, the name seems to be mostly the criteria.
There are two ways to protect yourself from getting whammoooooed on a female character. One is to make a typical Computer Nickname.
The other option is to make a complicated name, most whaaaamooooes can't type properly and have a real hard time getting those lengthy names right. :P
Never had a problem on my ele (though she wears pretty skimpy dressed). Never once on my warrior but plenty of times on my dervish (which ironically is fully clothed).

And I have been chased some times. But only in English districts.
I specially hate when they remove thair armor and follow you arond saying things like:
"You can't lie to me, baby, come on"
I wish ther were a /slap emote.

Meh, when a 13 years old kiddo whispers one of my female characters saying "Do you want to be my girlfriend", I just reply something along the lines of "Oh yes ! But I must warn you, I fart alot in bed, I have hair under my nails, I like to cover myself with barbecue sauce infront of my twelve cats and I like to use stap-ons."
That always shut them up, or give them with nightmares.

So many questions and thoughts go through my head as I read all this, and the question of why males tend to choose female chars might be more complex than we think, so I'll just make this short. When I made my first char, a necro, the idea of makin it a chic just to stare at the pixel-goods never came across my mind. I took alota time decidin on what face/hair/etc to choose from cause, I wanted him to look cool ..rather than makin a female char to make her look...."sexy" O_o I'd rather be starin at my male nec's sweet 15k armor, rather than some half-naked female ele who's starter armor (if you can even call it that) happens to look like crap and looks like it'd be somethin worse than starting armor. I think most of us know that MANY female ele's happen to be dudes It's ok if you wanna stare at that cause you supposedly are forced to ("I don't wanna stare at a guy's backside for hours" blahblah etcetc), then thats fine....but when you make up some strange name such as "A Super Hot Ele" (no im not overexaggerating, that's extremely common), then it jsut gets weird =/
Temple of Balth, d1 = home to the perverts and possibly the most strange and messed-up-in-the-head people. Thank anet I don't got visit it all the time just to change my prof but still....
.....when I visit Balth's temple for some testin on the armor-suit guys, why must I always appear in d1?! I lag horribly when I see the trophy surrounded by masses of naked dancing pixels. The chat is as spammy as d1 of Kaineng, but at least they're sales and items I might wanna buy, rather than disgusting comments =/
