This should make for interesting discussion.
Down in desolation I noticed that Margonite and Mandragor groups tend to team up together but never patrol the same path. I thought the 2 creatures are related but the 2 creatures look nothing alike. I also remember Turai Ossa making mention of Mandragors down at Thirsty River.
So are Mandragors a type of pre-margonite or are the 2 things totally different?
Margonites = Mandragors?

as far as i know mandragor are big weird creatures, and margonites used to be human-like? who only served the god abbanon and therefore got banned to the realm of torment together with abbadon himself?
-.-
I noticed that a lot of monster team up and try to kill you, does that mean they are all related?

Mandragors are bugs I thought? But yeah I don't think they're related to Margonites in the least.

That's what I thought before then I remembered that Turai Ossa at the Thirsty River in Tyria made mention of semi-aquatic creatures called Mandragors. Hence my confusion.

mandragor sounds very close to the word, mandragora, which is latin for mandrakes which are plants. i don't know why anet wouldn't incorporate them as plants when defining bestiary.
however, margonites are just another species that worships abaddon and inhabit the guild wars world.

You may very well be right, I do not remember which bounty have points for mandragor but i'm fairly certain it was bug.

On the note of Mandragors sounding like mandrakes, take the time to actually observe some of them, they got branch-like extensions on some of them making them somewhat plant like.
