Pre Weaponry - Hiding in the bushes?

Ok, i have four characters in pre, have been there for a while now. I enjoy collecting purple weaponry in pre, yet it is hard to find items around.

Is there a site or page dedicated to pre weaponry?

If not, does anyone think we should have a separate trade page seeing as more and more people are entering pre in order to try for the elusive Defender of Ascalon title?

I for one would love such a page, as it would stop me trawling through the endless searches of rubbish that i often come across.

very few people in the guild wars community are interested in it hence why there is sooo little info out there regarding what you are looking for

I never even knew purples dropped in Pre until I ran into a person selling some purple items in Fort Ranik. I pushed 4 chars through Pre (all the quests!) never saw a purple drop. :/

I did get about 3 black dyes though...one of which I sold for 700g to a player in Pre....before I knew better.

Pre? Really, who cares? Move on already.

They're random drops with randomly assigned stats. What info can you devote to them? The only thing I can think of is that the charr will drop the highest damage weapons, given that they're the highest level enemies in pre, but that's pretty common sense.

I remember some purples dropping for me in Pre once. I think I got them from the Char bosses, as well as some Runes (which, of course, are entirely useless in Pre). You *may* be able to find some info over at GuildWiki.

Well yes, the purplels only drop over the wall from Charr occasionally. You are all missing my point, i know about the max damage in pre and purple drops and where to find them. But i am a collector, looking for new weapons in pre to either buy or oogle at (seems sad, maybe.. )

I am talking about a section (maybe trade) to sell/buy or just display the purple weapons found in pre searing from Charr hunting.

For instance, i know a guy who has just found a vampiric modded sword in pre (which would sell for either 50,000+ pre gold, or at least 200k in post) as people doing Defender of Ascalon need one to die quicker. Also, i have seen various staves, some with 3 mods, some with 4 mods (HCR, HSR, health, armour) so there are plenty of weapons of interest and vaue that drop in pre.

Finally, or the person who said to move on, people underestimate the wealth that can be attained in pre at the moment. I have four chars in pre, three have black dye armour for instance.

Do you see my point now people? Please respond only if you are going to be positive and productive...

I once got a perfect 15^50 longobw. Sadly it was 7-10 dmg

For a while you were able to "Visit Guild Hall" from the guild menu, and use the Xunlai agents/merchants etc there. So I'm sure there are some people in Pre with Runed bags and max gold weapons.

yes, there are people here with items from the exploit a while back, a guy was selling runes a little while back on the trade forum.

But we are avoiding my intial point...

Would anyone like to see a pre searing weaponry sticky, to show drops from there such as the aforementioned 15^50 bow?

There's no pre-searing trade section/forum/anything on the web, afaik. You're just out of luck.

A sticky about Pre-searing items would be pointless because it wouldn't see enough traffic.
