Oh well... (Some spoilers if you haven't beaten Nightfall)

I lost my Survivor title again, but in a stupid way.

Gates of Madness.

Now you may be thinking: OMG HE LOST IT FROM SHIRO'S IMPOSSIBLE ODDS!1!!1

Let me tell you this: You are wrong. Lost it because of the Lich

I'm a Ranger, and the responsibility was for me to pull him to the door. I thought, "No problem. He can't possibly do that much damage to me".

Wrong.

I remember in Prophecies how the Lich used to only do somewhere around 60 damage with his staff. Well, I underestimated his power, thinking that it only did the same amount.

Needless to say, my Survivor title ended because the Lich hit me with TWO 280 damage staff shots. Normally I would've just closed the game out but I was in shock that he did so much, as he never used to in Prophecies. Then I heard the death cry of my Ranger, and it was all over


One tip I have for all you aspiring survivors out there:

NEVER UNDERESTIMATE THE POWER OF ANY MONSTER, BOSS, OR DEMON.

I'm impressed that you even went into that mission with a Survivor title. Most would have avoided it or stayed WAY at the back. Did you get to rank 2 at least?

dude that so sucks sorry to hear that, but you must have forgotten the update about bosses doing double damage for a while now. no idea when you started ur ranger. but my RIT goes almost no where near bosses. even though she beat kunnavang in cantha she hasnt gotten no farther.

Bosses in Factions and Elona can do upto THREE TIMES damage, it depends on the boss.

I sure love getting get for 300+ dmg ele spells.

Yeah.. I wouldn't take my survivor anywhere near Gate of Madness..

Lich is powerful but , he only has one aoe damage attack life vortex? So he can only hit single targets so you should have had a prot monk with guardian , or I use a ele with blurred vision for the whole Mission ;

my monk once got 363 damage from the drought :S (a lot of damage, +50% damage, times three >.< OMG)

lol my party got wiped by an ele boss aswell, firestorm+meteor, so about 500+ dmg over 3 seconds =S
