So you can see them in cities with Alt without having to walk all over the place.
An easy change that won't harm anyone, uh?
Make quest-giving NPC's names blue.

Dougal Kronik
I don't think blue is the right color to use - as all the player characters are light or dark blue.
Glevi
Orange would probably work, I can't think of anything already existing that has orange as it's name color.
MithranArkanere
Well, I really meant more like cyan.
Currently we have Two greens, something like #00FF00 in RGB and another more like #66FF00.
So we coul make another a bit bluish, but not really blue, like #00FF66 in RGB. More like Ritualists skills green. Tuquoise, you could say.
Purple, orange, brown, white... thay are not used for creatures but... they do not suit NPCs...

Isn't that green exclamation point over their head a dead giveaway?
Granted, it's a bit hard to see in some places, especially with non-human characters, but generally just looking around they pop up.

Yeah, some models overlap the exclamation, like juggernauts, centaurs, and mostly anything taller than a taller Female Elementalist.

I agree they need to set some color in towns and other areas that denotes a person has a quest. Although the big green exclamation point is a big give away if you can see it. Set the colorin a red or similiar so that it can be a big beacon for those who actualy know how to use the ALT key.
