Can I make a mesmer in Chantha (because I think they look better than the other two continents Mesmers) and just move her to Elona?

yes, however to do so you'll have to finish the beginner island, make it to Kaineng City then do the Sunspears in Cantha quest from Imperial Guardsman Linro.

IMO, Yes if u like the characters skin u should definately go with it! i mean u may be spending 1000s(depending on how addicted you are) of hours starring at that character so you better like how it looks right? also besides having to finish starter island in cantha you also wont be able to do any of the beggining quests in elona, if thats important to you? but i would go with the skin i like.

It will take a few hours to wrap up beginner isle in Factions. It is the fastest way to level up a character but you will miss out on getting your heros developed (before they go to the mainland) and only get a couple of quests on beginner isle in Cantha before you are brought to the mainland. If appearance and fast leveling is important to you than developing them quickly in Factions is the way to go.
