Can you even do it? I tried multiple times and every time i get near the avacara mesmers, they follow me for almost the entire explorable area.... I hate the retarded AI >;/

yer i seem to be having the same problem. when i get near the cave 2 of them bird things follow me and when i go to attack them they run and when i do attack them they do 120+ damage to me! can anyone help me with that problem??

yes and no. you hve to body block them and kill each of them at a time. with two people each can body block them and kill them off. just wait until the fix the AI bug.

You know, with the "send the heroes n' henchies away" boss farming trick,
couldn't you do it with IDS now too?
Use them to clear the Avicaras, and send them away off radar while you farm the imps

I done loads of runs before nightfall was out trying to get the IDS, and my main problem was once i got to the imps, there was a golem or a troll that would always kill me... or if too many imps attacked i died.
I did manage to kill quite a lot over the runs, but never got the IDS.
If anyone wants to do a dual run or something, let me know.....
