I am just wondering why people think there has to be an end game pet just because there was one in Factions.

People tend to think the spider was also a sort of endgame pet for Prophecies, despite it being in the Underworld, a Core area.

I can see the line of reasoning, though, and it's not bizarre to hope that Elona would have an endgame pet as well.

I think i was just die from laughing if they made rabbits tameable (dire rabbits anyone?)

I think it would be the funny thing ever to have a beastmaster take down a tank with a rabbit

Possible end game creatures: Hippo =p,Giraffe,elephant,frog(lol), and of course RABBIT

Oh yeah, I forgot about the elite mission release coming up. That gives me new hope for an elite pet.

I should rephrase, I didnt think the phoenix was ugly, it just didnt fit my characters style and it's a bit chubby for my image of a sleek, magical bird of mythology.

The "black" tamable pet in proph was the black widow in UW or FoW (cant remember off hand which its in). The black moa bird was factions version.

The Black Widow is a Core pet.

Oh, I see, so it can be accessed by a factions only character and acct? I didnt know that. I thought UW/FoW were only accessable by prophecies. Thanks for clearing that up!

Seriously, I'd really want a Blacktooth Drake as a pet, because they're fricking humongous.

I was so disappointed when the phoenix didn't grow to the size of the two NPC phoenixes next to the emperor =/

Actually probably Abbaddon's Gate's isn't the "last mission" and really this new elite mission probably is the final step to fixing all of Elona's problems.

I'm sure the Magnorites, Creatures of torment, etc aren't going to be too happy that abbaddon's dead.

weren't they just followers of abaddon? i think they die off as well, since they were merely pawns to abaddon

I would really LOVE a little drake/dragon pet. I would love it if they updated the pet system to where you can capture any of the enemies (except bosses) then they turn into a level 5, smaller versions of themselves, and they essentially turn into a normal pet but they have the skin of the enemy you captured, then they can level up and turn dire/hearty/elder and such. Annnyyywaaaayyy that would be awesome IMO.

I'll go with the pure-information answer, since I'm ninety percent sure you aren't being sarcastic.

The Underworld and Fissure of Woe can be accessed from Zin Ku Corridor (Factions), and from The Chantry of Secrets (Nightfall), whether you own Prophecies or not.

(...Only ninety, mind you.)
