Hi everyone.

I was wondering the following:
What's the difference between a warrior and a dervish in later games? Right now it seems with bleeding and crippling the dervish, it kinda makes up for the attack dmg a warrior has more?

Cause I did a challenge mission with some guildies and it wasn't untill a dervish came into play (we had no warrior) things really went down a bit faster. So I wanna make one now, only doubt I have, since I have a warrior, is it worth it? (I know they both differ, they have to, but in what way?)

Thanks in advance.

I would say Derv does equal if not more damage. Its really hard to compare them actually. I guess, generally speaking, Warriors are still better tanks because armor, but Dervs are powerfull self-healers with a high-damage attack.

"Holy Warrior" is a really great description for the Dervish. Imho the damage isn't the point. The spells (and avatars) make the difference, a Dervish can easily take much damage, heal himself (10+ health regen ftw) and deal damage without using a monk as a secondary.

I would say he is a smarter version of the warrior even if some will hate me for this
But beware, there will also be some ppl who can't play him correctly.

They are basically W/Mos, except a brunt of their survivability comes from the Dervish skill sets. this allows them to wear runes and such..

Dervish skills more than make up for any lack of armor. Avatar of Balthazar and conviction can really own dolyak sig, and dervishes can have an amazing amount of damage, simply because the scythe happens to be the highest damage weapon in the game. Its not uncommon for dervishe to hit over 100 dmg on soft targets, where warriors generally have to use a skill like final thrust or executioners strike.

Well, thanks to all those who replied!!

I made one! And she is lvl 5 so far and I love her already. One thing remains though...

The distribution of the skillpoints. Hmmm, i'll study some builds I guess and see what works out best for me. Dmg or selfhealing.
