How far of NF I have to go for having my Prophecy toons capture their elites?
I have Prophecy made warrior, monk and necro. I would like to capture new elite skills and buy new NF skills for each of them. Which means I have to play NF on each of characters.
I'd like to know how far of the NF game I need to go to achive this? do I have to play through primary line in order to get to the zone for capturing skills or I can just run to all the bosses I need to kill ?
thank you for reading

Uh, well, obviously it all depends on the specific skills to cap.
There are few elites that can only be capped in Realm of Torment, which is at the end of the game. Think Eviscerate and Devastating Hammer in Ring of Fire islands.
However, there's no way to "run" through the game like you could in Prophecy.
You have to advance the story by doing the missions/primary quest to get through.
Sorry bub, no easy cap runs for Nightfall.

thx, that's too bad. I am ok with beating the game on dervish and paragon but I really dont want to repeat it over and over for prophecy toons

i hate when people refer to them as toons >.>
As soon as you get to yohlon haven. there's dozens of bosses you can get to without doing any missions.

have checked on wiki, I will have to get to the gate of Torment to get all the normal skills. its pretty much very end already and I doubt if there is a run to this town

Well I have gotten all the skills on my warrior and as far as the elites are concerned for warrior, the last one is in the gates of desolation mission. No elites (I mean the NF ones....you get some core skills like hundred blades in the realm of torment etc) in realm of torment except for normal skills.
Some Necro elites can only be found in the realm of torment and prob monk too. So basically you have to get to at least the Gate of Torment which is end game. And unfortunately, no way to get run there.

If you only do the primaries and know what to do on the missions, you can probably get from sunspear sanctuary to realms of torment in under 10 hours, maybe less.

Yes, that's true. Either you knock out Tanzit or you cap it in Hell's Precipe Mission... don't remember his name...

in order to cap certain elites u have to finish quests in that area 1st, not all quests but stull... i think i had to finish 7 quests to cap 1 necro elite in vabbi, that was annoying.
theres no way to run from sunspear sanctuary to the end-game zones, however u can explore most of kourna and vabbi and cap all skills be4 doing primary quests/mis and get quests u'll need to finish for certain bosses to spawn. u might want to cap all bosses in garden of seborin (if u need any elites there) be4 accepting the primary quest 'heart or mind' 'cos the garden will become nightfallen and it'll be no bosses....
in short - wiki's ur friend...

back on topic. If you don't actually want to play with all your characters what difference does it make to get the skills on them? Just get the ones you are going to use today and worry about tomorrow when it comes. If you are going to play (say warrior) just play, and get what skills and elites are available when you play and get the rest the next time. No biggy
