Random Arenas Stereotypes : Have you seen any of them around ?
Taurus
Just made this out of fun, while trying to gets some gladiator points.
After playing some rounds in RA, you'll see thats possible to separate the kind of players into groups :
Wammos: Basically they stick to a Warrior build with 2-3 crappy damage skills and 5-6 self-healing/protection spells/stances. Most of them dont bring a Rez or even worse, they bring rebirth instead.
But PATIENCE, dont snap out on them , thats the worst thing you could do. Either leave or try to pm them to teach'em something.
Sore losers: These are the kind of players looking for a gladiator point, have some notion @ pvp but if your team loses they keep on hammering the whole party with random insults wich usually contains the word "nooB". Ignore'em and go right back in.
Thinking outside of the box : These are pvp-experienced players, not necessarialy looking for a gladiator point but they bring some good non-gimmick good builds. 1 example is the assassin build I saw, wich contained blood bond and grenths balance + degen sin combo. Dunno if that would've worked in any decent gvg build but it sure did in 4v4. 1 of them in your team is a sure 5 consecutive.
Walking away completely from the box : These are either players that are new to pvp or wammos trying to make another builds. They fit in skills in those 8 slots ( alot of times not including rez sig ) and dont think how they would work together. Some examples I unfortunately met would be a D/E with main attack as the spell "Flare" and Spear mastery Warrior.
Plain Losers : Have you ever met a N/Mo that would just keep getting himself killed ? Or even a Runner that all he would do is run all the map ? Maybe a 55 monk ( while you dont have degen/enchant removal in your party ) ? Yeah those are the lowest class of players around, they dont play to win or lose. They're there just to annoy the hell out of the other players, usually they're like that because they cannot get to win either in or out of Guildwars.
Sometimes I like to think that they're either sexually frustrated/abused stupid people, thats the only reason why would someone spent their time bothering other players for no reason. Well what can I say, I guess the only thing they're good for is to pratice your anger management.
Newbies : They're similar to wammos, but they're learning. They're not that bad but your not getting past trought 9 consecutives unless your very lucky. Identify them and protect em, whether they're on a monk or warrior, they at least bring a rez signet.
Regular Player : This one is that guy that walks around with a mighty/fierce gladiator title for show, they get regular gladiator points and play the gimmick builds. Most commonly seen as Mo/A, usually the partydefense that wins a gladiator point.
Pray to get em in your party or make one yourself.
Well, I consider myself a little bit of Regular Player/Sore Loser, sometimes stupid get trought me and I snap out calling them n00bs... Well I'm working on that.
Wich one of those above are you ?

Well, I didn't start playin in the RA until like 2 days ago XD and have 3 glad pts, but I use this weird dervish build, and it works pretty well, so I'd say I might be a Regular Player.
Does getting your entire alliance to PM spam people who HAVE to whisper you after matches and call you "noob" count as sore losing? :-P

Actually I saw a very good spear warrior last week. Not saying all of them are good but dang... that one was amazing. (Good thing my team was amazing-er?)
I consider myself a Regular Player that occasionally thinks outside the box. If you ever see a random build being played by a guy with the tag of [Fame], well, that'd be me -_^

You forgot one class of players:
"Pure Idiots"
These players will scan the professions in your team, and if it is not to their liking, leave before the battle even starts.
/signed for applying penalties for RA leavers.

There are players who take pride in that 180 minutes won RA match. But not everyone is like that.
Its amazing how large the 'completely away from the box' population is in RA.
An interesting phenonemon is the MinionMaster in RA. That has just written 'terrible' all over it. Due to the lack of bodies, you're not going to make much of an impact. And by the time someone dies, you're already winning or losing.

Necro is not a support class.
I've seen some pretty wicked necro builds that would make a warrior cry.

What you are probably referring to, is a SS necro. Then you have to have an opponent that is stupid enough to keep attacking through it.
Priest Of Sin
I have 2 glad points... all of them I got because I got in a team of 3 touchers and a BL monk... and no, i'm not proud of it.

My friend runs a necro in AB and wipes most ppl 1 to 1.

I'm the "let's go to RA to test a PvP build, then head back to PvE cause I don't feel like getting a team together for TA"
Khaunshar
Actually, I am playing in RA with what you would consider an outside-the-box assassin build, and often, the monks (its almost always them) leave as soon as they see me using Dancing Daggers, or keep yelling I should leave the team. The funny part is, they dont even stop when I am obviously doing well, and pulling my weight.
I guess in their eyes, a distinction as sophisticated as the one you wrote up doesnt exist.... there is only "noob", "quitter" and "regular player"

Thinking outside of the box for me, I have been using a particular ranger build with a few tweaks and really enjoy taking it to AB or RA, its pretty effective and there to have fun instead of getting glad points, which I usually do with this build.
Stixxx
I'm the "i dont do RA because it annoys te crap outta me" sort of guy. I do TA at most, and only with friends / guildies.

He was using Jagged Bones[E], Death Nova, Taste of Death, Animate Shambling Horror, Dark Bond, Blah, Blah, Resurrection Signet. A Knock-Down during Jagged Bones ended his heroic effort, though.

im the "i have 30 mins to kill.... lets go to RA with the wierdest build i can pull" person
surprisignly, some of them are decent

You forgot the guy that is just bored and goes to RA to get some spare faction, maybe a glad point or check out builds. That would be me
Mylon
RA is kinda annoying because of the reliance on a monk to win the match. It does go to show the imbalanced nature of monks, though.

How could you miss the most common, most irritating stereotype ?
The ranger/ritualist that lays traps/spirits by the door, then pings the minimap and draws lines on it.

You could also easily argue that warriors are imbalanced in RA.

...So you have to wait until a member of the other team comes in and triggers traps or gets pummeled by balls thrown by spirits. Tedious

I'm in the Thinking Outside the Box group and Regular Players. I have 54 glad points currently and all from random arenas. Most of them came from playing my Necromancer build which I <3.
I have not monked/used a ritualist for any of the glad points. 570k Total balth faction, 500k just from randoms.

Narcism
Duel Mongrel
The guy with 5 stances and Sever Artery, Mending and Healing Signet, who yells at people to 1v1 him, and cries like a bitch when he gets killed.
The Let's-Wait guy
Expects everyone to stand there, without pinging on the map, and wants the other team to come to him and doesn't assist when you run in, ops to yelling at you instead.
The trash monk
The monk who decided to bring in his level 20 monk with heal breeze and sub max damage weapons into pvp. Seems immune to criticism and skill suggestions.

I'm the kind of guy that uses RA for a laugh. If I'm bored I'll think of the craziest thing that I could run and I go in with it.
I love the glad point seekers that rage all over you if you mess up their point farming lol.

last time i played RA e saw a wammo with an elementalist off-hand anda holy rod telling us to go to to em right in the beggining cuz he would heal us.
I only say him using 4 skils:
-mending on him
-orison of healing
-healing breeze.
-purge conditions
......

I was teamed up with a Mo/E using Flare and Frozen Burst today... We won that match though, but I left after it.
Clawdius_Talonious
I'm none of the above, but I've met quite a few like that...
You left out at least one though:
The Running Ranger : This character will fight with his team, but when his group dies and leaves, he just keeps running away. If your team isn't equipped with a slow or cripple, you'll have at least five, and sometimes more like twenty minutes of chasing to do before they finally decide to quit, or actually turn around and fight. If you were in a good team that hadn't gotten to five points or higher, don't be suprised when they leave. Don't give in to the idiocy though, stick with it and kill the idiot, don't let him get free Balthazaar faction for being a moron, that will just encourage him.
