Ok is this a bug? The Paragon loses its adrenalin if you use an adrenalin based spear skill on a target. The target is killed before the skill has a chance to activate thus canceling the skills activation.

It seems to loose all of its adrenalin seeing as other adrenalin based skills go dark after these situations.

Is this on purpose. With a party that kills enemies off quickly it can get annoying trying to build up adrenalin.

Perhaps you should continue attacking to see what happens before running straight to the forums. Warriors do this too, if you use an attack just before an enemy dies but the attack doesnt hit. When you use an adrenaline skill, all your other adren skills lose 1 hit of adren, so that you can't build adren from an attack skill. And you lose the adrenaline in the skill you were tryiong to use, because you started using it, just like if a spell is interuppted.

Well... the content's right anyway..

Here's what I do, as an adrenalin noob (played two campaigns with casters only)... If I'm in a party / hero henching... I tend to attack until the target is almost down, then quickly switch targets so the adrenalin doesn't get interrupted. Not sure if this is either right or 'proper' but it seems to work for me.

I use Agressive Refrain / Go for the eyes for the increased attack speed, so adrenalin loss can be a right party pooper.

Sorry, not an answer per se just thought I'd mention it..

Actually that is what I started doing as well. I was using Mighty Throw early on which was far to slow. Targets usually drop in 3 seconds as henchies/heros focus on killing them for you. Going from my main characters of Elementalist, & Necromancer to Paragon is a new experience.

mighty throw is awesome with frenzy (or the bugged 33% increase attack speed elite from the Leadership line), even better- throw on "for Great Justice" and EVERY throw will be a Mighty one

but yeah i do this to myself all the time -- I go to Cruel Spear or Stunning Spear etc and try to shout GFTEyes! and really mess up my flow... its not bugged per say... but yeah, ive been there.
