NF Story Line Question ~~~~Contains Spoliers!~~~~

I think I missed something....

When you almost beat the game, you find out that it was kormir who released abbadon's magic/essence in alona. but my question is, how did varish ossa get mixed into all this? Was she then touched by abbadon (basicly brainwashed or posessed after wards) or did she know about him and was just wating for him all along?

As far as I know, she was "touched" by Abbadon, and that corrupted her, and her own weakness for power.

And since Kormir actually started the Nightfall cataclysm (I believe), I do not think Varesh knew about him before hand.

Well it was said that Kahyet was the teacher of Varesh. They both travelled to Istan to unleash Nightfall themselves. Maybe Kormir was just caught up in it coincidentally by her own hunger for knowledge.

The way I see it is Kahyet and Varesh just felt the awaking caused by Kormir.

They both had been devote followers of old 6 eyes for a long time.
