I am in the finals stages of Masters for all 4 of my characters in Factions and I get very frustrated with a master group, lfg masters, that does not skip the movies. I think it is extreamly rude for 7/8 to skip the movie in a masters group, especially when people have asked everyone to skip the movie ahead of time.
So, does the cut scene time count as part of the mission time? Most of the masters missions are timed, <20 or <25 minutes, so this is important to know when attempting masters?
It seems when I go with just henches I do much better at achieving masters, since I can skip the cut scenes.
Is cut scene time count as part of mission time?

It USED to, back in Factions, but that was changed. It was also changed at the same time as minions no longer dying in a cutscene.
Darkobra
Found it.
From Guild Wars main site:
Update - Thursday July 27
* Modified cinematics so that minions no longer decay and mission time no longer elapses while cinematics are playing.

You do better because you and 7 henchies focus fire on one target and move on when that target is dead.
As stated, it doesn't matter if someone watchs the cutscenes anymore.

Gah I wish my minions would decay sometimes, especially when I do a mission for the first time and I wanna watch cutscenes and I can hear and see my minions and Spirits attacking some random enemies..

minions still attack enemies that might have wandered into the cine, they dont suffer the degen they normally suffer any more. one time in kodonur crossroads at the end cine i had an MM in my party and his minions were back at the garrison and started attacking the hunger.
