Botanical Research Quest, bugged?

Couldn't find a post on this one, so not sure if it's me or if anyone else is having this issue too. Well, I'm a quest junky and like to keep my log cleaned from campaign to campaign, so I went to do this quest.

Quest Found: Librarian Kahun - Holdings of Chokhin
Botanical Research: "Talk to Horticulturist Hinon and find the whereabouts of the mehkunnah plant."

The quest takes you from Tihark Orchard (Where I start from), and just outside is Hinon. The green star on the radar flashes to him, but he does not say anything to me about the plant. I just get the "...be on your way" option. I'd love to know if others have this problem, or if there is something I need to do before this quest. Or, if someone could tell me where the plant is in that zone (Garden of Seborhin) that would be great. Maybe you can bypass talking to him and still complete it. Hope someone knows what is going on because I'm at a loss. Thanks for the help.

Hinon is in Garden of Seborhin (where the princes are during the mission), but the entrance to that is right outside of Tihark Orchard. The plant is (nearly) visible when you enter the Garden, but going there before talking to Hinon won't update your questlog.

It was giving me that "infinite loop" deal that a few in Factions did before they updated it when it first launched. You'd run in the portal to the designated zone and it would tell you to go back, then go back in the zone you just came out...ect...like a never-ending circle. Thanks, though, I'll go check it out. ^_^

I use Tahlkora anyway, and that does not have any hand in the quest. If you need a certain NPC for a Nightfall quest, it will state it at the bottom of the description.

I just did that quest yesterday without any problem. The horticulturist also gives two more quests.

Has Garden of Seborhin turned into the Nightfallen Garden?

If it has, you cannot complete this quest until you finish the game and it reverts back to being just the Garden of Seborhin.
