How many people have each title.

Could there be some way to see how many people have each title in the game?

It would not have to be a live running figure (that would be the best thing, but would probably be impossible to do), maybe something that was updated daily could work?

Perhaps there could be a second tab on your titles list that showed all available titles and how many people had each of them?

I know that titles and title hunting are not everyone’s thing, but they are something I enjoy doing, in fact they are the main reason I play the game now.

Gaile mentioned in a recent post that as far as she knew no one had the People Know Me title. I would like to see the first time that number changed from "No people have this title" to "1 person has this title".

It also might change which titles people tried for. If one title had 10,000 people, and another had only 100, then you could try for the rarer one.

its impossible to have all the titles, as you cant get legendry defender of ascaleon without dying, so that rules out the survivor title.

I like this idea a lot, would be very cool to be able to view this.

It is possible to get both. Go with a partner to charr, stay away from him, let mobs kill him over and over. Once they are 20, partner quits, u kill the mob. Repeat until u are 20 and have legendary defender. Then go post searing and continue as usual for survivor.

There are people with the People Know me Title. And all this would do is add unneeded lag. I do like showing all possible titles, but then again, you would know when titles were added (and I like people discovering them and then having people try to get them).

I think there's this satisfying feeling of achievement when you max out a particular title, especially if you don't see it around a lot. I think it would kind of take away from the feeling of accomplishment if it was pointed out that there are another 100,000 people who have the same thing.

Sometimes I hate reading this forum, so many people jump to wrong conclusions, fail to read the post or just throw up flame bait.

He is trying to suggest a web page that shows this info like the guild ranking. Nothing in game. It wont cause lag, it doesn't down play achievements. If you felt it downplayed the achievement, don't visit the page. He never mentioned anything about all the titles, but how many people have aquired "each" title. i.e. 45,000 have Protector of Tryia, 5 have Legendary Defender of Ascalon, 10,000 have Tyrian Grand Cartographer, etc.

I think it's a novel idea.

Actually, I did mean in game - but I like the idea of it being a webpage like the guild ranking a lot more. I just hadn't thought of it! LOL

Having it offline on a webpage would be a lot easier to do and not impact the game in anyway at all.

BTW - I am totally immune to flame-bait.. LOL I used to mod in a forum a LOT tougher than this one in a past life :-)

I am still amazed though how split people become about new ideas.
