Sunspear Max Title

Alright this has been on my mind for awhile. Im a title collector, and the only way to get this title all the way is from a very hard attempt, where if anything goes wrong u can never ever get the title. (Junundo farming right b4 ur r8)

Now my comp errr7 me a lot and i dont want this to happen when im on this title, is there a chance that in Domain of Anguish r8 players will either
1) do a repeatable quest (much like in FoW or UW) that gives sunspear points
2) in Domain u can still get a blessing

*Note* Ive seen my friend have r8 and be unable to attain blessings....

Of course there is such a chance; there is a chance cause noboday knows......

Hmm, wasn't there a guy in the post your titles thread with r9 SS?

If I were you I wouldn't worry about the specifics of how you'll get Spearmarshall, because you simply will be able to get it.

There was, as far as I know theres tons of r9's now. After a few from StP figured it out. Once we'd said it was on wiki within 10mins. As far as I know, the first r9 sunspears were all from stp (myself included) unless anyone else had figured it out before us but hadn't posted it.

I do hope they add it in to the domain of anguish, make it easier to max out as I dont feel like grinding from r7-r9 again.

O_o still hoping DoA will help yah get those points but soon ill know for certain

alreight now that DoA is out can anyone tell me (im not there in the game, but plz dont put any spoilers just tell me whether or not u can get points in DoA)

Why didn't they fix the simple R7 res method for soooo looong?? if they really cared bout the sunspear title.
They(anet) knew about this from the very start, even Gaile Grey made comment about this(R7 res method) long time ago.
It had to get fixed (probably fixed now) and it was very easy to fix.. but they didn't.
Meanwhile more and more ppl slipped pass to R9 using the R7 res method.

(u already dont get extra exp or drops from res kill, all they had to do was change 1 line in program to stop the extra sunspear points)

Sunspear title means nothing (except for those that collect tiles), flawed from the start and no fun at all...bleh!

Well im a title collector i enjoy getting titles , but this title seems to be rlly hard to get (involving a lot of luck)

Titles are not just for collectors. Certian titles give you advantages. The wisdom title for example, depending on your rank in it determines wether you get that nice mod from a weapon or just materials. The Lightbringer title, the higher it its themore damage you do to those enemies that are weak when it is active. I am not a title collector but I do try to max out at least one title for each of my characters so that each one is different. I have several rather nice titles for several of mny characters but the one I am most proud of is "Tyrian Grandmaster Cartographer" on my Elementalist.
As far as maxing out the sunspear title they are supposed to fix it so that non-Elonian characters can max it in a future update.

Yes, I also am very interested in getting the Sunspear title.. Hopefully these new ways to get more points are as cool as Gaile says they are.
