Newb question here.. heh

Hi all. I just started playing GW a few days ago. I had a good friend hook me up with a good deal of gold; since he doesn't play much anymore he said he didn't need it that bad. He gave me some tips about how to get nice armor, so I bought a couple of runs that got me to Droks. What I am wondering is how I get to Marhan's Grotto from here to buy the 15k armor there? Also how much would it cost me to buy a run to there?

I would just ask my friend but he's been off doing his thing on WoW, so he can't be bothered atm.

look around the site, you'll find maps, mission walkthroughs, etc. If you need to know it about guild wars, it'll be there, and if it isn't, it probably won't be long, or else nobody else knows.

Maybe 10k for a run from Droks... just a guess because I haven't hung out in Droks for a little while now. The hard part will be just finding a runner at all. If you need to take it in steps, try to get a run to Copperhammer and then to Marhans from there.

First .... if you are getting run all over the place for top armor, you have not even "started playing GW". There is no need for Droks armor until you actually get there, and the armor at Marhan's Grotto is just vanity .... no better than Droks.

i have hanged out to give ppl runs but they rn't over 3-4 ppl at a time who need one

not worth doing the run for 40k anyway
probably gonna be less due to scammers

You have only been playing a few days. Try playing the game, not running through it. Beat the game with one char and then when u make more chars get them run places, but not your first guy, its just ruining the game for you.
