The IP address turns out to be the playNC game server and a tracert shows dead returns after my comcast backbone connection (I'm obviously on comast

[edit] Well, now I can't even get into the character selection screen. I also tried to go to the main guildwars site to send in a trouble ticket and can't do that either. www.guildwars.com brings up "unable to connect". I'm on hold with comcast while I simultaneoulsly try to open an online ticket with my ISP.
I can get to ncsoft.com website, but selecting guildwars North America simply times out. So, it seems it is a complete routing problem between GuildWars play/login/web server and whoever is doing the peering between them and comcast west coast connection using te-0-0-0-0.mclean.va.comcat.net backbone route.
[edit2] Received comcast trouble ticket, updating a response since their canned "we have no listed area trouble in your region". Sent traceroutes and pings of various NCsoft web servers that I can verify with problems. I also have multiple computers and none of them load now.
All Traceroutes show, at least for me, all routes to any NCSoft north american web sites are down. However, if I use a proxy from aournd the world all is ok (i.e germany)
