i think that NCsoft and areanet should expand their fantastic game to include the other platforms i.e PS3 or xbox 360, as i for one would like to sit and see my created character run around a 32" HD tv and enjoy the full potential of this game as it would bring all gamers across all console together (PC, PS3, and XBOX 360) as for the keyboard and mouse, yes you can attach them to a PS3 for web browsing so why not gameplay, in fact the nintendo Wii might benefit from this as it can use the motion sensor to guid the mouse. its an idea!

PC to Platform interaction is already extremely rare (to my knowledge, only 1 game currently uses it), and you'd also have control issues. Not very feasable.

Anet once stated that the gameplay design isn't suitable for console audience. It's not a technical problem, the game just wouldn't sell well, since that market expects different gameplay.

Just because you would like a console version doesn't mean there should be created one.

I'd never buy it. I really prefer keyboard over controller with most games, and indeed, it feels more right on a pc.

the next gen consoles can have keyboards and mouses attached to them via usb! therefore making a game more viable for multiplatform releases. seeing as consoles have overtaken pc in power ie the XBOX 360(3 core processor at 3.55Ghz each) and the PS3(7 cores each at around 2-3GHz each) which makes for networking alot better

Frankly; I just can't see releasing a console version as being profitable enough to warrant it.

GW is the only game that gives us Pc game players one over (excuse the expression) on the platform nublets I would hate to see the current band of 360 morons invade the serene nature of 'most' PC gamers.

Why would I play Guildwars on exactly the same thing but on a TV, losing the ability to check forums while playing?

It may work well for people that have crappy computers though.

I'd only want GW on the DS...

Touch screen ftw, but the closest thing to that reality would be FF:CC DS but that seems to be just a thing of fiction.

Have to agree with Knightsaber. I don't think the profit margin would warrent that kind of work.

Plus, as I just remembered, it shuts down console-players from advanced pvp-play, since there's no TS/Vent.

Ofcourse, Anet could add voice comm to GW...
