Ranger Pets

Rangers can have pets i know but does ranger have to be your 1st professiopn for this skill? E.g. can i be using Monk skills and weapons when my pet is fighting with me?? Or do i have to have my bow out when my pet is fighting?? Ok thx!

Hey there,
all you need is to be either primary or secondary ranger. you always need to have the skill charm animal equiped and that will keep your pet out with you. that's the only thing you need. you can use whatever skills you like.

i made all my heros 2nd profession ranger and got them all pets.
i have a mini IWAY for PVE now. :-)
between them and my MM hero u can get a pretty big army following u around.
