Uninspired Sword Art

Right. I'm aware there's max swords in game that are common as hell, tis the stats that matter why should I worry about the looks? Well, it's nice to have a sword that doesn't look like crap, we can't help it but we still hunt down the look we want for our weapons with the max stats.

Anyway I solo farmed Reaper Of Agony hearing it dropping a sword green and I get this in the attached screenshot. First thoughts I had were, nice stats..but what the hell is this supposed to be? Looks like a stick..it just doesn't even look like anything remotely interesting and this seems wrong when it's dropped by a boss that is supposedly hard to kill. So I basically want to ask, am I being fickle? Because that is the worst piece of 3d art I've ever seen in any game, with no thought or flair added to it. I hate it so much I wish the devs would go back and re do it again. Well. I await your thoughts.

But otherwise, I kinda like the skin (machete), as it looks decent on a female warrior.

I actually like how it looks. It's better than all the scimitar looks of everything else in Nightfall, and it's better than the shield.

Um....its utilitarian square tipped machete.

Anyway, there are more green swords with these same stats, but with an other skin, so maybe you can buy (or even trade for this one))

Dont you think it looks like a stick you use to poke fires with though? I dunno I just expected something wicked looking considering who drops it.

Just because you don't like it the devs have to "redo it"? Wow, at $50 you have paid for liek 30 minutes of a single dev's salary. Guess how far that is gonna take you...

Get a new sword. Some people don't like certain skins, thats no reason to come to the forum and complain about the skin and ask the devs to remake it.

There are so many other green swords with the same exact stats. If you want those stats but not the skin, then get a different one. Its that simple.
