Last night when I did Thirsty River, the ending had everyone roar and cheer for victory. It's accompanied by great sound effect of everyone roars. So I think great if we also add sound effect to our regular emotes.
If adding sound effect can make lots of noise when people start spamming them, it's become necessary to make emotes queue up so that you can only play the next emote after the previous one had stop. Cycling emotes need to be canceled by moving before using another emote
-------------------------
Update: I just realized some emote sounds like /taunt is hard to implement. Maybe just provide sound to some of the emotes like /laugh, /yes, /no, and.../dance?
Add sound to emotes

Don't get me wrong, I think its a good idea, but it just leaves it too open for abuse
Look at those options in the option tag.
Most of them are there becuse people felt some things 'irritating' add an option to 'mute' other people emote sounds and done.
But what someone feel irritating, other may not.
Remember the Simpsons Treehouse of Horror VII?
"Abortions for some, miniature American flags for others".
Being a client side option, would not lag, so everbody happy.
