There was a reference in another thread that getting Elona cartography titles is made more difficult by the fact that the Elona map changes as you progress in the game.
What would that have been a reference to?
Changing map of Elona as you progress in the game?

I'm not really sure. I've been working on the title for some time now as my ranger, and haven't noticed anything changing, and I beat the game with him already. The only thing I can think of is when the land (parts of it) get infected and overrun by "The Torment" and alter the way they look. Although, that doesn't effect your percentage of completion.

*minor spoilers*
The Garden of Seborin is the only area that really changes. At one point it becomes corrupted by Nightfall and turns all evil-looking with high-level monsters, and is an "interior" area like FoW or UW- meaning it has it's own U map, and mapping it doesn't affect the M map.
Completing the mission immediately after it (Jennur's Horde) turns it back to normal, as does beating the game (I think). This all doesn't really matter, since the best way to map the Garden is through the mission Tihark Orchard, which is available at any time.

Thanks! I'll stop worrying about this then.
Not that I'm exactly going to be up for KoaBD any time soon, but I want to at least plan ahead for the possibility ...
